Takeshi Kitano Hana - Bi (Fiori di Fuoco)

Due to work, lunches with relatives, dinners with friends, and the aging of the server, I arrive with dramatic delay to say a huge "Thank you very much" to everyone. Every time I try to write a review that is a bit "out of the box," I always fear that I won't do justice to what I'm reviewing, that I won't express everything that makes me love what I'm "describing." I'm not used to getting emotional when watching a movie. In fact, I think it has only happened to me a couple of times (one of which was the first time I saw Rocky!.. the other for an obscure film about the Holocaust - Jonah who lived in the whale - that I saw when I was a kid..). But Hana-Bi represents my true Achilles' heel... I find myself periodically watching it again (categorically alone!!) and getting emotional! Thanks again to everyone.. bye!
Abbas Kiarostami Dov'è La Casa Del Mio Amico? (1987)

Beautiful page, maybe a bit too focused on the plot, but really beautiful.. It's a shame it didn't receive the attention it deserved. I don't know much about Kiarostami's filmography, and that's something I miss, but you piqued my curiosity a lot (even if you revealed the ending to me!..:DD!) Bye!

..I just finished my first listen. For now, I feel like endorsing the review (which, aside from personal opinions on the album, I think is excellently written). I'll come back to vote for the album. I apologize for one last prosaic comment: despite my metal background, I also don’t go crazy for the distorted outbursts sprinkled throughout the album.. but halfway through Anesthetize there's a double bass section that puts many metal drummers to shame, and it blew me away!!! Hello everyone!

@happy:..ohhh..unfortunately not!..I’m a polenta eater with fog in the house.. However, a friend of mine lived for several years during university (not a few... :DDD!) in Dorsoduro, near the fire station, and as soon as we were free from exams or other commitments, we would reach him.. and the evening alcoholic pilgrimage couldn't help but include the peoco stop!!:DD!

Simple, concise, highly effective: very well done! Hi!
Steve Bendelack Mr. Bean's Holiday

Really nice review.. Mr. Bean is, in my opinion, more than just irritating. Some of my friends were crazy about it.. I’ve seen them with my own eyes laughing their heads off at some ridiculous skits, which let's not get into. You're right: the power of inertia..

@psycho: thank you so much for the clarification: I included the subtitle as it was proposed in the Italian version, but I wasn't sure whether to specify it or not!!...in short, I didn't know how to fit it into the review..:DD!! Bye!

But how the heck is it already on the home page?!? Editors, do you have superpowers?!? Well, I’d like to take this opportunity to say one thing to everyone who loved this film: I’M SORRY. Most likely, this wasn’t the “best possible review” for this movie... probably many could have done better... In short: I didn’t want to “ruin it” in any way, just to talk, as I felt, about a film that deeply moved me.. For the rest, thank you so much for these first (beautiful) votes-comments.. Bye!
