Orson Welles L'Infernale Quinlan

..man, what a movie.. the two long takes (the opening one and the interrogation one), the murder scene of Sanchez, the tension of the final scenes at the motel or the "final chase," Welles as a monument and Heston all flashy with an unbuttoned shirt and hair sticking out.. masterpiece..

..mmm.. from my comment looks like the Bartok do jazz.. well that’s not really true, in fact it’s somewhat of a nonsense.. it’s just a blend of a lot of beautiful music.. even that song has just some jazzy nuances (snare-charleston touches..).. I guess if you want to get an idea, it’s better to just download it!!:DD! Hi!

..wow.. this is indeed a complicated question!!:DD!.. it’s that "easy listening" vibe that kind of holds me back.. you know, it’s a bit of a subjective judgment.. look, I feel more at ease if I tell you what I listen to when I relax/write on the computer: "Pink Moon" by Nick Drake (which, regardless of the use/purpose for why it's listened to, is still a bit more than a masterpiece..), "If You're Feeling Sinister" by Belle & Sebastian, "Chocolate Moments" by Tuck & Patty (a somewhat unique duo, quite super soft, mostly just fingerpicked guitar and voice - beautiful and warm -), the main theme from The Piano (it may be supermarket music, but I think it’s a masterpiece) and finally Late Fragment by Bartok (from the album "Few Lazy Words". The album is kind of a heavily produced jazz, almost club-like, and in some tracks, it’s also a bit sick and unsettling, but that song reconciles me with the world!!). Oh my.. I hope I haven’t embarrassed myself too much!!:DDD! Bye!

I'm really happy that you're back reviewing.. as I've already said, your suggestions usually have all the right elements to make me lose my mind, yet you manage to make me want to throw them on the mule's back! Well done! Bye!

..mm..the first three are pretty easy: NIB, War Ensemble (..It's how many people I can kiiiiiillllll!!) and Black Planet by the Sisters. The fourth doesn't ring a bell for me.. I know you really love the Cure from the triad and, considering the message, they might fit in.. but I have no clue and I'm just guessing!!:DD!Fidia, great job, as always.. but on the proposal I'm afraid I have to sign the Puni!!:))!Bye!!

@psycho: back in the day, I was mostly a comic book fan (not for any particular reason... it's just that I could afford at most a couple of OAVs a year.. :DD!) and I remember often struggling to find the releases from Star Comics... let alone Granata! Now the newsstand under my office has an entire wall dedicated exclusively to manga!!

..I sadly join the list of fans who love Porco Rosso.. and even more sadly among those who appreciated (certainly not to madness) Howl: indeed, some scenes feel a bit self-indulgent.. but overall, I’d say it’s a good job! Hi!
