..I was all happy that finally someone had brought the Bulldozer to Debaser.. and look what I find! Ten lines and a reference to the Bay Area that doesn't even fit! Instead of sending 5 hasty and superficial reviews, send one but do it well!!.. I bow before the metal majesty of sfascia..

I don't agree on one thing: in my opinion, the trigger for the professor's violence doesn’t lie in the rape of his wife, since, if I'm not mistaken, he doesn’t even find out about it (though I might be remembering wrong). I would say that the true catalyst is the violation of that "sphere of intangibility" that is typically bourgeois—namely, the home. It's evident that the protagonist repeatedly utters phrases like "this is my house, I will defend it at all costs," and so on. A splendid and ruthless film...with what I believe to be a strongly misogynistic edge: the scenes where the wife seems to act out in a truly "bad child" manner towards her husband, such as when she erases his formulas from the blackboard, are exemplary. I was also greatly struck by the sort of stubbornness with which the professor considers himself superior to the peasants in the name of his own culture, contrasted with their coarse physical strength... In short, beautiful!

Watched it last night.. beautiful, but endless. In the second half of the film, the tension drops quite a bit.. As if a bit of the people's "disinterest" in the killer transferred to the viewer regarding the film. The first murder scene is very well done. Right now, this thing escapes me: but why didn’t they have the killer identified by the one with the little girl, the one with the loose wheel bolts?!

..mmm.. indeed that "masterpieces" from my previous comment can be misinterpreted, and I apologize for that. I mean, I wouldn’t take it in an absolute sense.. I really like their silliness, but it's also true that this can represent a limit in the long run.. I don't know much about their more recent productions, but I've read everywhere that they leave something to be desired..

I am always amazed and fascinated by the heterogeneity of your music tastes. I humbly bow to such mental/musical openness. Hello!

In addition to sincerely thanking Ghemison (everyone says that In Search Of.. is the best, but I had my epiphany with Daredevil!) and fenni (both always kind in coming to visit me..), I wanted to dedicate this review to my favorite literary case: Nero.. I find every one of his reviews a little gem and, in particular, the one on Gino PaolO a true masterpiece of idiocy.. Thank you Nero, I really hope that the fact of being constantly relegated among the literary cases doesn't make you lose the desire to write and post reviews. Hello everyone!

Too much honor!!!!:DDDDD!!! Thank you so much!!.. but you know that the fact that few people on this site know Tankard still surprises me?!? When I was a little thrasher, for me and all my friends dressed like metalworkers, Gerre and the gang were essential. When I reviewed The Morning After, I’m not saying I expected a huge number of visits.. but definitely more than what I received! Especially since Debaser isn't doing too bad when it comes to thrashers.. I won't tell you the shock I felt when I found out that neither you nor ocram (my encyclopedic idols) knew them! The same goes for nightdriver (who I greet and hope will forgive me for bringing him up.. and I also recommend the latest "The Beauty & The Beer" to him), he knows a ton about thrash, even the more underground stuff, yet he says he knows them little. I swear, it feels really strange to me!.. well.. better this way.. who knows, maybe they’ll end up like Rozor!:DD!! Bye!

Hello everyone!.. and thank you so much!.. to tell the truth, my favorite still remains Daredevil (maybe the masterpieces are In Search Of.. and The Action Is Go, but I really love that album a lot!!). I practically miss all the EPs by Nebula which, as I understand, are really very good.. @Francescobus: I'm sorry that your review on Tankard got pushed off the homepage so quickly.. also because I'm realizing more and more that we are really few who know that band. The problem is that lately almost all music reviews don't stay very long on the homepage.. and often, as in your case, it’s really a shame! Hello everyone and thanks again!!
