I know that with this comment I will unleash the dire wrath of someone, BUT. But I don't know of any other sites that were created and managed with such a "low profile" that generate so many freak-outs. We're talking about a site whose symbol is a cow, where the most ungrammatical and disheveled people I have ever come across on the entire internet (excluding YouTube) have found a home, a music review site created by someone who, at the end of the day, cares very little about music, where the penultimate editorial was about kebabs... Yet over the years I've read death threats, announcements of suicides, reports to the postal police, appointments for brawls, identity theft and sensitive data breaches, Masonic lodges, mafia clans, declarations of hate for the site, promises of revenge, and armed collectives (software + hardware) that, thanks to a corporate IBM, discover that Kosmo is Swiss... I don't know. I repeat what I have already said many times: Debaser will eventually die, as is only natural. But I say it sincerely, as long as it has lasted, it has truly been the coolest site on the internet! :D

The novel has long been one of my all-time favorite books. The film, alas, only does it partial justice. I don’t know if it’s really the "poetic quality" that’s missing, as you say. Certainly, something is lacking. The punch to the gut is missing, that empathy with the protagonist which was so strong in the book. It’s not a bad film; it has at least a couple of really well-executed sequences, but somehow it never truly takes flight and doesn’t become a masterpiece. I watched it both in Italian and in the original language and, I’m sorry to say, the translation loses about 15%. Moreover, due to the dubbing, the performance of the young boy (I don’t remember his name) ends up being a bit subdued. And that’s a shame, especially for the sequence you call "the confession," where I truly felt I could grasp the spirit of the real Oskar from the novel… Excellent analysis.

Kolla… those are the emails assigned to each editor upon joining the staff. All staff emails are "username@debaser.it". I believe that 95% of the users were aware of the existence of those emails, simply because when we want to communicate with a user (for example to point something out regarding their review), we use those addresses. Even Ezekiele, a few years ago, had an email exchange with me using the address bartleboom@debaser.it. And, in any case, they have always been freely usable by anyone who wanted to use them, just like editors@debaser.it and staff@debaser.it or claaudio@debaser.it. Moreover: at least one of the addresses you posted is incorrect. And at least one geographical reference is wrong…

A very welcome return, reviewer! Excellent page indeed, just how I like it: the right length, the right effectiveness, the right proposal. I don’t really know her except by name; I’ve listened to a bit at a minimal volume and it seems very interesting. Well done!

Anyway, I just wanted to say that I find myself pretty much agreeing with the review. Aside from the fact that having a wife obsessed with K2B is still a blessing, otherwise you end up taking trips thousands of kilometers long with Coldplay's discography in the car, and when you get out you’re mute, blind, deaf, an asshole, and they have to pump you with bullshit for seven days and seven nights. As for the rest, I went to one of their concerts a couple of years ago. And it was great, of course—an absolute headbanger from start to finish, and for at least a week you’re feeling grooves everywhere like sand in the car when you use it to go to the beach. But I also understand that for someone who doesn’t really care about pure, unfiltered headbanging, they might not appreciate it all that much...

I discovered Haneke with Funny Games and I've always promised myself to catch up on his early filmography, sooner or later. I would say this is the right time. Great recommendation/review!

In the meantime, another day has passed and no one has heard from the armed collective (software + hardware). Can someone send them a private message?
