Battle, in part I can only agree with the Judge's comment: excessive generosity in ratings makes you lose credibility! It's fine to pay tribute, it's fine to give the right credit to bands that are now forgotten, but we must be objective. And I say this as someone who has a full granary of NWOBHM and has listened to these songs a lot. Let's talk about the production, the buzzing guitars, the not always convincing vocals, the derivative nature of the solutions. Let's mention that these compositions are heavily affected by the passing years (especially the title track - Killer, on the other hand, really reminds me of Aces High!:DD!). You can't give this EP the same score that a landmark of the genre deserves, nor put Mythra on the same level as bands like Angel Witch or Judas. A piece of advice: don't trust sites like Metal Forever - Forever Metal or whatever the hell that site is called with their interview. Sometimes they exaggerate a bit with the syllogism "old stuff + unknown stuff = super cool stuff." Bye.

I'm in the very first listens and, for now, it hasn't thrilled me. Glory to Antmo, my reviewing guide.

I really like them on record. For a while (post Aenema, I’d say..) I even had a bit of a fixation on them. Seen them live a couple of times and they’ve pretty much skewered my balls: technically impressive (except for that idiot Maynard), surgical, but on an emotional impact level, I’d say it’s better to have a finger painted with nail polish. Live, I prefer something more “blood and guts”…

I too am a victim of download abuse: I've had them there for a while, but I still haven't decided to dedicate the right time to them. You are always great.

@capitano: I'm stepping in way too late to break - I think you know how reluctantly - an orange in favor of the anti-metal party: in fact, lately, it’s become unbearable! For every 5 reviews, at least two are metal or related. In most cases, they’re poorly written or make you lose your mind with how childish and superficial they are. Not to mention the delirium style "Corriere dei piccoli borchiati" that comes out in the comments! Moreover, most of the so-called "professional metal reviewers," in addition to being prolific to pathological levels, interact very little on the site: they mostly just send in a stream of reviews, leaving very few comments, most of the time exclusively on their own (metal) reviews (see the recent Starblazer purchase: TWELVE reviews, FOUR comments). It's true that everyone here has the right to review whatever the hell they want, but this 1) is not some random person's blog 2) it’s not the nursery school of truemetal, where post-puberty metalheads can vent their keyboard itch while waiting to grow up! For crying out loud! It would be enough for these so-called "professional metal reviewers" to develop a certain sensitivity when sending their writings, in order to avoid clogging up and/or making the HP one-dimensional. Apparently, however, at this point, it’s really asking too much.
