Candlemass Nightfall

This is a great disc, yet I've never really gone crazy for Candlemass. Too epic in a dramatic-romantic-suffering way. Usually, I prefer either the dum acidello malatello or the dum epico medallaro alla Cirith Ungol.
Dik Dik I Grandi Successi Originali

By the way: I happened to work multiple times in the kitchens of the local "sagra" in the shit town where I lived, and I assure you that there was really not a damn thing "pure, authentic, and fragrant." I saw sausages grilled on plates greasier than Maurizio Mosca's hair and oils that were as virgin as Cicciolina after the scene with the horse. Usually, by the end of the night, the fryer would come to life and attack us, accusing us of being petty bourgeois while demanding a contract renewal that was stuck in the post-war period. Nostalgic/revivalist reinterpretation is fine, but let’s not distort the facts.

But am I the only one who found a strong double entendre in the passage: "I would love to do it in the Dik Dik's van, acting as their roadie during the local festivals of our country, in search of pure and authentic feelings, fragrant like a sausage with fries"?!?!

BUT GESUIDDIO! I come back after four days and I find Debaser turned into Matt7's blog! By now even Di Pietro would understand that sending more than two reviews at the same time is for fools... let alone sending seven. Look, summer has arrived: spend less time in front of the computer and go out a bit more for some fun. It will do you and us good.
Sidney Lumet The Fugitive Kind - Pelle di Serpente

Maybe you focused too much on the plot, but the review is great anyway. For some time now, I've been trying to catch up on as many Lumet films as possible since some of my favorite movies are his. This one is missing from my collection. I will take care of it soon! ;)

And who told you anything?!? Mine was just an offhand remark...

What an "unusual" review... Certainly among your most accessible. An album that caught me off guard the first time, but that I gladly listen to again.

I don't know this one, but the review is really nice. Perhaps even beautiful. Congratulations.

I quote TheJargonKing: there was really no need for a review to know that this guy is a joke to real artists, etc. etc. etc. etc. The only consequence of your writing is that now this idiot has a review on Debaser too; in short, you've helped increase his visibility. Not only that. Since Debaser is one of the most clicked sites on the web, the first twelve-year-old fresh off her period who types this guy's name into Google will end up here, discover that anyone can submit reviews about whoever the hell they want, tell her friends, and together they’ll start spreading crap all over the De-Database. Thanks. We really needed this.
