I saw them as the opening act on the last Pearl Jam tour: they started with a kind of reggae that left the audience rather perplexed, only to grow on us song by song. By the end of the concert, I was standing there applauding like crazy. I got their debut album, but it ended up filed away in the "stuff to listen to eventually" folder. At this point, I'll definitely take care of that this weekend. Review by Pstcho: "5"! Nothing less!!

Speaking of youporn... While sneaking around my colleague's computer, I found in his "favorites" a rather interesting site: it’s called "jizzle" (dot something...). Not bad at all, except that the videos are excruciatingly slow. Oh my... you’ve reopened a door in my head that I hoped was locked tight. Back in the day, this song had a video that played constantly on the now-extinct Video Music, which, among other things, featured Jenna Elfman (Dharma from Dharma & Greg, just to clarify..): that video really impressed me, it kind of hypnotized me... I thought about it all the time! I remember studying with the TV on just to be able to see it.

I saw him again last night, just to relive a scene: the one where Munny, after the second cowboy has been killed, looks at the town from a distance while one of the prostitutes approaches on horseback with the bounty. It lasts a few seconds, but it has everything: the sky heavy with rain, Eastwood who for a moment stops being a slightly daft old man and seems simply invincible, incredible colors, it almost feels like you can hear the cold wind blowing... What I love most about this film is the way it mixes epic, drama, and a whole lot of irony... the scene where Morgan Freeman asks Eastwood if he does it "Tutto a mano" is absolutely hilarious! :D!
