Ah! If it hasn't been understood, I am the editor responsible for the incident. I take full responsibility for it. I confess that I didn't notice the incriminating phrase: after reading the first lines of the review, I realized it wasn't worth spending much time on, and I edited it too carelessly. As I mentioned before, I only noticed the mess once I returned from vacation, and at that point, seeing that the comments had been stagnant for a few days, I thought it wasn't appropriate to reignite the issue by coming out in that context. If all this compromises the opinion that you or other users have of me, I’m sorry. But don’t come to me talking about a site going to ruin over something I fully claim responsibility for. P.S.: Happy holidays from me too, Mastro Psycho!

As for the Flinstone discourse, I disagree with you. For months, he has continued to bypass the ban by signing up with different usernames, ultimately creating situations of great tension, arguments, outbursts, and so forth. On several occasions, he has hinted at the possibility of shutting down the site and directed insults and personal threats at users and staff members, showing an unusual acrimony towards the site and its members. So, the publication of that email is welcome if it serves to warn those who are unaware of his past. Personally, I believe that the publishing of that email has represented, among many other things, an attempt to ease the atmosphere of tension that his behavior has been generating for several days. Not only that, but I also think it was an attempt to resolve what has now become a "inhuman case" with irony and mockery. Regarding your question about whether it's time to remove it, I’ll pick up on the point I made quite a while ago: EVERYONE can write editorials. If Flinstone's email isn't taken down, it's clearly because, at the moment, there are no alternatives. Maybe just because Nick and Enea are on vacation. But if no one rolls up their sleeves to jot down a few lines… :))) Bye!

@Fusillo: Hi! Sorry, but the topics you're bringing up are quite delicate, and I foresee a rather long post. 1) the “Rece Lennon” issue. Let me preface this by saying that I didn't participate in the discussion on that page and, in fact, I only became aware of the mess a couple of days ago, after returning from vacation. So: to put it very frankly, and at the risk of sounding stupid, insensitive, or unpopular, I confess that I did not fully understand the collective outrage that page has caused. Clearly, it was a page deliberately crafted to ignite a furor. Moreover, it did so by “aiming low,” using strong phrases for insubstantial arguments. It would have been enough to treat it for what it was: a waste of bytes. And yet, no, it turned into a pandemonium where everything was discussed: terrorism, international conspiracies, apologia for crime, morality, etc., etc. And so, the moronic reviewer got exactly what they wanted: for a week, the stage was all theirs, at the cost of 4 idiocies summed up in a few lines. Given the chaos that ensued, I’m starting to believe it really would have been better not to publish it. The responsible editor made a mistake. A serious one. A very serious one. So? Can we really say that the quality of a site that has thrived for years, hosting over 20 thousand reviews, a few million comments, and I don't know how many users, can be said to be compromised by such an isolated case, no matter how grave? If we want to talk about a mistake made by a staff member, I completely agree. If we want to talk about the site's drift due to a review posted two weeks ago, no. One last thing: want to bet that if I publish an equally provocative review about Manowar tomorrow, where I glorify war with equally idiotic motivations, it’ll cause an equally big uproar?

I care relatively little about the discussion, but comment number 74 is pathetic. Truly one of the worst I've ever had the misfortune to read...
