Negrita HellDorado

To tell the truth, I don’t understand all this bitterness towards the poor Negrita. They have never pretended to pose as an underground or niche group. They haven't been writing the same song for 20 years (see Ligabue). They haven't deteriorated over time, turning into embarrassing media phenomena (think Vasco). They have never focused excessively on image at the expense of substance (think Dari). They sound pretty good and they do quite well live. Aside from a couple of episodes (L'uomo sogna di volare and another one I can't remember the name of, but it was terrible with armadillos), they have made some very respectable radio rock albums. I understand they may not be for everyone, but in my opinion, the "shitty bands" are others.

Really beautiful review. I hope the album proves truly worthy.

This is a great album, no doubt, played very well, although I've seen some terrible live performances on YouTube. I've always found the Spartans a bit too anonymous, while I appreciated the early works of Mars Volta, but with the last one, I barely made it through a couple of listens. Then, the Chipmunk syndrome dealt a fatal blow to my patience.

Here's what I wanted to ask: I have the Japanese version downloaded due to eternal butt patches and, apart from Buzz-In, I have the various songs named with something like |_/&\_| etc etc (I'd say in place of the kanji..). In a nutshell: how do you say "You were holding an umbrella" in Japanese?! I listened to it on loop for the first few days...
