I just finished watching it: the review is practically perfect... there’s none of that ironic and subtle satire of Divorce Italian Style here. Everything is exaggerated, taken to the extreme... you did an amazing job! :))

Like Kosmo: it's been going around a lot in these parts... thank you Target!! :))

For me, on the other hand, they’ve never driven me crazy... I guess I caught them at the wrong time!! :)) But you’re still the Master of keys!!

mmm... I'm listening to them right now and, to be honest, it seems like a nice album, but nothing to tear my eyebrows off about. Especially considering that it's from 2003. Really, not that it's a bad piece of work, but I don't feel like I've found anything that can't be heard in other earlier albums... Moreover, the vocals draw more inspiration from Ozzy's '90s work than from his '70s era. As for the rating, I'll come back after the "car test"! ;)))

Seen this week after reading this review: I really liked it a lot and didn’t find it slow at all, especially since the "reflective" parts and those investigating corporate wars are alternated with the frenzy of the gameplay sequences. And then there's the growing tension leading up to the grand finale... in short: it really didn’t seem that slow to me. If one really wants to find a flaw, I’d say that the "alternative future" issue seems to be treated a bit—I'm not saying superficially, but more narrated verbally than visually... Maybe it has little to do with it: has anyone seen "2022: the survivors"?!?
Mario Bava Reazione a catena

@Senzastile: to tell the truth, the only one you mentioned that I haven't seen is L'Aldilà. And I'll tell you... I don't know! :DD Aside from "Paperotto," "Zombi 2," and - I add - "Una lucertola con la pelle di donna," most of the Fulci films I've seen (and, I repeat, it's not a lot) really didn't impress me much. On the other hand, I've appreciated many films by Bava: the already mentioned Maschera del Demonio, Cani Arrabbiati, this Reazione a Catena, Operazione Paura, and the really messed-up Terrore nello spazio. Even technically, I prefer Bava: for the cinematography, for the play of lights, for certain filters he uses. Well! I guess you can enjoy Fulci and I'll enjoy Bava! :DD

@senzastile: so for you Fulci would be superior to Bava? I should preface that I'm not a big expert on either, but Fulci has always seemed to me to alternate good films with semi-crazy crap. In your opinion, what are the best Fulci films?! (so I can understand if you’re referring to movies I’ve seen...) By the way, I seem to remember (but I could be wrong...) that the critics have not always been "magnanimous" towards Fulci either :))

One of my favorites from Bava, despite the usual imperfections: the progenitor of the entire slasher genre and the Friday the 13th series above all (which will directly reference the couple impaled), with a very wicked and grinning ending! For me, cingu!! 5 also to you for reminding me that I haven't watched this film in a long time! :))
