To tell the truth, Fear Of Tomorrow is not usually considered that "explosive debut" you mention. The production was terrible, very raw, and musically it was quite an immature album. In fact, Artillery is the classic band that gradually evolved their songwriting, progressively leaving behind purely thrash intransigences to move towards shores closer to American power metal. So much so that in the subsequent Terror Squad (probably the album with the worst cover ever...) noticeable improvements in the compositional phase could already be found.

Personally, this album has never driven me crazy. I'm not a huge fan of the vocals, and I'm more into the sputazzo-revival of Swedish bands. Not a bad album, mind you, but I don't know... :))
