Listened to it a couple of times last night.. if I had had two flint stones, I would have lit a bonfire in the living room. For now, it feels like a great record. Welcome back Mister Baffo!!

@Purpu: dear, it seems you’re not too far from the truth... especially since, back in the day, fighting was one of my favorite pastimes. Especially when the new Postalmarket arrived, I have to admit I fought quite a lot!! :))

@Giusty: you wouldn't want to break the truce, would you?! I don't know how beneficial that would be for you right now... :DD!!!

How nice!! Someone else who remembers Helium. Thank you so much for commenting on my (prehistoric) review!! :)) I confess I only have vague memories of this album... If I’m not mistaken, it was more "daring" in its structures and arrangements compared to the actual debut. You made me want to listen to it again!

Look, I don’t want to get into the discussion and I prefer to be the third who enjoys while the two argue, so I’ll just share my experience and my "feeling." The fact that Sleep were the first to use the term "stoner" is pretty much accepted (I don’t exactly remember which songs' lyrics it appears in, but it is so). As for the statement "There’s no stoner without psychedelia"... I don’t know! Personally, I’ve always associated the term stoner with a certain type of sound (tube distortions + drop tunings), to certain "cadences" in riffing (I think of "Thumb" on Blues or - to make a comparison nearly 10 years later - "Get It On" by Colour Haze) and to a reimagining of certain "heavy rock" from the seventies, more than the presence or absence of psychedelic elements. But maybe I’m wrong, huh?!? Please don’t treat me badly... :))

Sorry, but my bad habit of listening to albums without paying attention to the titles has just made me realize something: are the track titles from the previous "Untitled" essentially the same as those on this album?!?...

Really beautiful review. I confess I’ve never seen the movie. Congratulations!
