Well, there's a difference between the "seminality" of a band/album and the fact that they can be "still relevant." Especially in a derivative genre like doom which - time and again - always pays tribute to the Sabbath. In the case of Vitus, if you look at the group photo on the back of their first album, you'll find, along with some epic beer bellies, some hippies out of time playing tough guys, rather than real medals. So much so that their first album was even released by SST (if I'm not mistaken)! P.S.: Chi l'è mol mi fa cacare!!! :DDD I’m off... have a good evening!!

Oh dear, I wouldn't say "thrash at 100%." But it's well known that I don't get along with the four goats of apokaonthas... So I'll save face and say it's the best of Metallica. @Franci: Well, I wouldn't exactly call the first Saint Vitus "still relevant"... it basically sounded ten years old at the time of its release, both in terms of musical proposal and sounds (hideous and beautiful, just to be clear). The fact that lately they are really pushing the revival and extreme fuzz is another matter...
