@Elde: Alas!!! So far I've found the same flaws that made me not appreciate the first one. However, by constantly criticizing this book and this writer I'm becoming annoying... so, for now, I'll refrain from any judgment! See you in 600 pages! :))

No, come on... the Core don’t exactly do stoner like its six million other bands! Revival is a real drag that I don't listen to, but The Hustle Is On (the review of which I might manage to finish in ten years. Maybe) is something you don’t hear in the stoner scene, both in terms of technique and proposal: basically it’s a blues improvisation record with sounds akin to Fu Manchu, featuring all those damn instrumental interludes that feel like just messing around in the rehearsal room... for me, it’s a great album.

Starbly, I'm really sorry for the few comments. In my small way, I'll make up for it. And here's a 5 as an encouragement to keep going on your journey discovering albums with animal butts on the cover! :))

The review wouldn’t be much, yet you managed to pique my curiosity a lot... Now I’ll try to see if I can find it! :)

I'm revisiting after one of the worst Fridays of my (overall satisfying) existence to say two things: 1) the story recounted by Caz reminded me of a famous anecdote featuring the late Quorthon: in the mid-'80s, he was sitting on the toilet (it's true) recording the guitar parts for what would later become "Blood Fire Death." He was very focused and the recordings were going quite well. Unfortunately, though, his neighbor, the son of an unknown mother, fired up the lawnmower... A lawnmower that ended up in the recordings, later passed off as the "Norse Viking wind announcing to brave warriors the beginning of Ragnarok"... 2) This review made me realize how often references to present-day music are used to describe music from the past (e.g., "heavy metal," "proto-stoner"). I know it’s not a great insight, but it’s 09:12 and I challenge anyone to do better. Have a great day, everyone.

I join the chorus of "Welcome back"! :)) Until a little while ago, the so-called "Nouvelle Vague" really intrigued me, but lately horror films genuinely scare me, so I'm starting to stop watching them... But you're really great. Hi Zion!
