A lifetime ago, I used to go to Discomane, but there they mainly have just mountain ranges of vinyl records. If I need to get something recent, on CD, especially heavy-pesca, I would say that Psycho is excellent. I want to emphasize this: "Fuori porta, Carù Dischi is an institution in the field"... it’s practically right around the corner from my house!! Gabri told me he has crossed the border several times just to come and take a look. He’s an incredible character... a Marsican bear who’s obsessively into the Grateful Dead, with super stinky cigars in his mouth. He has collaborated/has collaborated for years with Buscadero and I know that there are people from all over Italy who contact him to get hold of amazing records.

Such a pity about the few comments, especially since the band seems interesting. I didn't like the Track by track in the review...

Yes, but on top of that there was the drugs involved, I’m sure of it. Like, he would say that drugs are harmful, while you and Psycho would say that ‘a little smoke every now and then is fine and that the krauts must have done quite a bit. Then it all spiraled from one comment to another... stuff that went from talking about soft drugs to hard drugs and there was an insane mess with poor DaveJon desperately trying to calm Baxx down. Then that same night the server decided to take a little vacation and Baxx thought he had been banned!:DD

Here, just to give you an idea of how much the good Enrico knew: link rotto And I even suspect that some debaseriano may have "drawn inspiration" from his pages for a review... ;))

Via Molino delle Armi should be around the columns of San Lorenzo... which, if I remember correctly, was the area where Psycho was located until about a year ago. Now they have moved about a kilometer further from the city center. Be careful, though, because it's run by two really cool zamatauri: as the name suggests, you'll find some over-the-top stuff in terms of psychedelia (once they recommended to me a reprint of an EP by an Argentine band recorded in a cave in the desert in '68), but as for punk, hardcore, and similar stuff, I don't know how much they have. They might have an entire barn full of it, but I’ve never looked into it.

Unfortunately, Enry's reviews are no longer available. I don't know what happened to the comments on his pages... Anyway, Enry is a human encyclopedia of kraut and cosmic music, no joke: his site is really cool. When he signed up, he sent like 40 reviews all at once!:D!

It's on Zamenoff Street: if you want to go there one Saturday, just let me know and I'll take you. I just hope that by then I'll have a couple of €10.00 bills to invest! ;))

Lukin, I would give you a little kiss! Enrybaxx's departure was certainly one of the highs of debaserian history! If I remember correctly, it all started from a sentence in one of his reviews where he talked about LSD. Gabri and I can't remember who else intervened, and it turned into a crazy uproar, with Enrybaxx claiming to be outraged for reasons I can't recall anymore. From those chaotic days, I especially remember the concern and regret of poor DaveJonGilmour/ArnoldLayne, Enrybaxx's most devoted disciple. Upon hearing about his mentor's departure from the site, he left a message like: "You don’t know what you’ve done..." :DD

I really liked the review for several reasons... not least the fact that it describes well that "country mouse" feeling that I often experience too. And then the proposal seems like it could really appeal to me. Well done, well done.

A mysteriously overlooked album until just a few days ago: I'm really enjoying it... Great review.
