I didn't quite understand the connection between all the nonsense said and your comment... I mean, would the former legitimize the latter? But if your comment was the first on the page? I dunno! But weren't you the one with the philosophical ramblings about the Katatonia album?! Look, think what you want. I repeat: your comment reminded me a bit of when we used to say swear words in kindergarten to feel more grown-up. That's all. Bye.

As someone already said, "Punisher, get a life." @Super: and you could have spared us that first comment: we're not in kindergarten, are we?! @Mariaelena: what does "direct and personal title" refer to "cogliona"?

Well, Tobby, forgive me, but I don't think you've lost many sleepless nights writing this stuff... What were you expecting, the Strega Prize?!?

And, I'll say more, I am frankly baffled that Il_Paolo has given his blessing to such a superficial analysis. Shame on you. Both of you.

Mediocre review that doesn't sufficiently focus on the deeply melancholic vein of this film. In practice, you dismissed this movie as if it were one of the many comedic products of Bud Spencer à la "Lo chiamavano Bulldozer" or "Altrimenti ci arrabbiamo". It's really a shame that such a delicate, moving film was treated so superficially. And then to merely call the soundtrack "appropriate" truly shows a lack of sensitivity. I'm sorry, but this film deserved a much different treatment.

Apart from the obvious reference to the Simpsons movie, am I wrong or, in general, the device "mixed humanity trapped in a closed space and let’s see how they tear each other apart" is now more overused than the bathroom on the Roma-Berlino regional train?! The same King had already used it 30 years ago with "the mist that turns people inside out" and, more or less, in Shining. I read a half variation on the theme some time ago. It’s a book by an Italian author whose name I can't remember, it's called "La notte eterna del coniglio": basically, a nuclear war breaks out, everyone dies except for 3-4 small groups of people locked inside some bunkers connected by cameras. And, at a certain point, a giant pink stuffed rabbit comes out and kills the survivors one by one with an axe. It’s poorly written, the characters are very badly characterized, but at least it creates a certain curiosity...

I even have the original of this. Lent to me by an old schoolmate and never returned... very nice.

True, true, that way we would finally see who between Rocco and his brother and Franchino has the bigger dick. The winner could challenge the trans Nathalie...

Listened to it again today after a long time. Very cute.

What a mess, soon all hell is going to break loose here! Let’s hope we can replicate the success of the titanic clashes of the past: "Zappa vs Nirvana" and "Zappa vs BonodegliU2". Given the topic, I would bet on a "Zappa vs Bombolo" or a "Zappa vs Cicciolina". Needless to say, Bombolo would be the favorite in both cases...
