Oh! It's really convenient to comment with the phone! If you write really small in the little window, you can fit even 7-8 letters in a row!

Leave it be, Caz. They grew up playing Yu Gi Oh card battles. They think they're young, rebellious fighters, but they don't realize they're just like the old folks playing briscola... :((

Great review. I really liked the first one: there were some awesome riffs and certain songs had a really impressive groove (and in fact, it made me want to go listen to Helicopter again) and the voice was quite charming. I also tried listening to some of the later albums, but they bored me quite a bit. I get the impression that in terms of sound, we're definitely leaning more towards pop, so I don't think I would like them much, but maybe I'll give them a listen anyway. I saw some recent videos on YouTube to see how the new lineup is doing. The drummer seems to fit in well even with the old songs, while the bassist looks lifeless...

I think you are being too harsh. It’s a "low-budget" film, without many pretensions apart from letting the world know that a director who is now used as a metaphor for failure and "not getting it right anymore" can still pick up a camera without necessarily producing a colossal disaster. I watched it this morning and spent an hour and a half quite entertained. The grandmother is excellent. The grandfather is decent. The girl holds her own. The boy needs to die yesterday with a poker in an eye. The final twist is nonsense (see the story of the photographs that the reviewer also mentions), and could have been handled much better (the story of the neurodegenerative diseases he refers to, in fact, would have been cool), but it’s still better than yet another attempt to explain the inexplicable with aliens, possessions, ghosts, and resurrections of dead children on a school trip. Come on, it can easily earn a 3.

I remember that a few years ago, Rumore was really pushing them, highlighting them as one of the most interesting realities of "modern" black metal. I’ve always promised myself to give them a listen, but my resistance to certain types of sounds has kept me away until today. I must say that the review does its job: you’ve made me want to get them. Who knows… Well done.

As Her Majesty Jargone has pointed out, lately my insomnia has gotten a bit worse... I’m sorry for not contributing, not saying hello, not replying in the comments, but this period is literally "pregnant," I’m feeling a bit under the weather, and the "Best Boom Bond" project is really draining every ounce of energy from me, more than a girl I dated for about 6 months in 2003, of whom I remember more the teeth than the voice. I want to thank everyone, absolutely everyone. I never imagined I would find so many enthusiasts (very well-informed!!) of the saga!! I confess I’m a bit afraid that my reviewing zeal will wane once the Golden Age is over (to completely fade away with Dalton’s arrival), but I still want to try to see this through to the end. During my last session in the loo, I was reflecting that, even with an average of two reviews a week (which I will NEVER manage to keep up), this thing should last around three months... Aside from the mortgage and a couple of other little things, it’s the longest-term project I’ve ever embarked on!! :DD We’ll see... ciao! :**
Livio Della Gala Livio Della Gala. L'esordio con "Gemini". Un doppio album meraviglioso.

I'm a bit perplexed... In this video the artist Livio Della Gala comes on stage around the second minute and a half, a bit overweight, clearly dressed as a metalhead (even though he doesn’t seem very familiar with head banging) and sings practically in growl. In this other video, however, I find him significantly thinner, somewhat stiff in a white shirt and devoted to exquisitely acoustic sounds. Are we perhaps faced with an artist with a marked dual songwriting nature? Let's hope so!

I confess that I recently discovered you as a reviewer. I promised myself to read all your reviews that I missed over the years. I like how you write, even when you're talking about albums that I might never really listen to. You soar at different altitudes, which is always a great quality. Well done.

I’m listening to them right now on YouTube and they seem really cute. Not exactly the album I would put on when I’m driving my mother to the supermarket, but they do their job. Where are they from/were they from?
