For those who, like myself, have a mild obsession with zombies and appreciate a slight twist on the theme, I recommend Candidato Maledetto by Joe Dante (the one from Gremlins) from the Masters of Horror series.

Seen in the cinema: not great. In fact, even worse: anonymous. Romero's message (good zombies – bad humans) has been the same for forty years (basically since Night of the Living Dead): it can be explored, dissected, refined, generalized, but after a while, it’s bound to show its age. I miss both Diary of the Dead and the one about the island whose name I can't remember (I don't even know if they were released in Italy...), but for me, this is truly the worst in the series. Moreover, there’s Asia Argento. Who dubs herself. With her own voice. As far as I'm concerned, this alone is enough to make it an insufficient film.

A true and sincere piece of advice for everyone who will never pick up a guitar and who, after several months/years of study and effort, will simply realize they have no guitar talent: when despair is about to fill your hearts, call a couple of friends, rent a rehearsal space, and get high on cannabinoids. Then take your guitar and play Master Of The Universe. Relentlessly. Forever. Maybe then you’ll understand that it was worth it all the same.

Of course it's a group of losers: the leader was a drunk and a troublemaker who practically fought with all the band members who left slamming the door, they made an album that is one of the most beautiful of the evimedal that they could never even look at from afar again, they tasted a little bit of glory and then no one gave a damn about them for over 20 years and on top of that this comment is written in an Italian that would barely qualify as bad. Given these premises, it's already a miracle that Heybourne didn't have just one ball.
