Roberto Calabrò Eighties Colours

Indeed, I confess I know nothing about the music scene of that period, except for the evi medal, the guns, and the electro pop nonsense or thereabouts. Great review. Great suggestion.

@Panic: alas, the Pilates lesson is, to this day, one of the saddest pages of my sad existence. Personally, I rank it right after the time I asked Nes to conjugate the verb "to cook." Body Power, on the other hand, I believe is some kind of weightlifting done while riding a dragon with a bunch of people chanting epic cheers to give you a boost.

The funny thing is that here he’s throwing shade (at least I think that’s the intention) and then he sends me private messages to give me music recommendations. In my opinion, they’re actually two conjoined twins, with one’s head stuck up the other’s ass.

Seen about ten years ago: I remember it being really nice, but - due to an age-old ignorance - I couldn't say whether it's a faithful and/or objective reconstruction of the story. Good job, nice review.

Here, on what the benefits of Pilates might be, I'm less informed. In theory, it should help with coordination and balance. However, this wouldn't explain its success: any physical activity that doesn't even theoretically promise a reduction of cellulite for women and a little belly for men is doomed to fail. And yet, it has had interplanetary success. By the way, at first, I thought it should be pronounced the English way: "pileiz." But it’s not.
Hermann Hesse Demian

I too have revisited, in recent years, some novels by Hesse that I read back in high school, but I confess I did not feel the same engagement at all. Especially Steppenwolf, I found it very "didactic" (quotes most willingly) and a bit verbose, just like The Glass Bead Game (for which, if I remember correctly, Hesse was awarded the Nobel): they seemed very distant from me and from what I enjoy reading. The only one I might still be attached to is Narcissus and Goldmund, but more for a sense of nostalgia than for strictly literary reasons. However, I would still gladly read the stories of Knulp! :)

And I add: in every pilates lesson, there comes a moment when the instructor invites you to focus on the "genital triangle."

Yes and no. In reality, Pilates is everything and nothing. It’s aerobic, but you don’t sweat. It’s yoga, but you don’t necessarily have to endure Enya’s discography as background music to relax. Pilates is whatever you want it to be.

I don't want anything in particular. I write short comments that take me a few seconds just to see how long you're willing to respond to nothing. You're the one who came to this page and for two days has been posting long and unfunny comments.

Good job, go to sleep. Those who sleep don't catch fish. And, judging by certain comments on this page, you have quite a bit of fish to catch. See you tomorrow.
