It’s a bit lengthy, but it puts many interesting things on the tray. Well done.

What an avoidable review! Christ, you swallow pages and pages of crap without blinking and then complain about pages like this. As if we were even talking about The Dark Side Of The Moon... Bah!

The fundamental premise is that you and psycho are my mentors: you picked me up as a bewildered ex-medallion and pointed me towards my personal Road To Perdition in music. This time, however, I confess that I can't share your enthusiasm: I listen to it, I like it, but it doesn't captivate me. I watch it from a distance, but I don't feel the urge to dive into it. For me, it's because I still can't do without guitars...

You're so far ahead that if you look back, you see an emoticon telling you to fuck off from last week. §:-#

Great rhythm, it's stylish, I like it, I prefer it! The list from line 8 is the kind that makes your head spin... :) Well done.

In any case, I wasn't exactly blown away by the reception either. That said, if we all waited to write the new Dubliners to review an album, like some tufted-haired folks I know do, we would still be here discussing the percussion of cave men. Having listened to it three times, the album has pulled my ego's underwear tight until it became a very provocative thong.

You are specializing in the misuse of emoticons: in theory, they should make the comment more pleasant, but in your case, they make you want to turn off the computer and spend Saturday night trimming your toenails with nail clippers. By the way, I didn't know you've been trying for months... have you tried with cooked vegetables?

Cristo Nes, but why do you always have to write totally random comments on every page of this site? When Teresa and La notte del Drive In have nothing to do with each other. And neither of them has anything to do with Steinbeck. By the way, Freddo knows Lansdale very well, since he has written two reviews about him. It seems you've taken too many methamphetamines during recess.

No way, it’s a time of very little reading: I haven’t been able to go to the bookstore for a while and I’ve run out of supplies! :) Right now I’m reading "Quando Teresa di arrabbiò con Dio" by Jodorowsky. It’s a kind of visionary fable-biography in pure Jodo style. In short: a big melting pot of history, magic, religion, mysticism, sex, etc etc etc. At times it’s pure delirium and it’s always a little on the verge of getting too tangled up in itself, but I’m enjoying it quite a bit.

Cold, sorry for the (perhaps) presumptuous comment: but did I recommend Steinbeck to you a few months ago? Have you read anything else by him? I’m still stuck on Of Mice and Men, East of Eden, The Grapes of Wrath, and I can’t remember what else. I believe this will be next! :)
