Objectively, as a vampire movie, the new image of my profile is definitely better... B-)

Excellent review. I totally agree with many of your thoughts/doubts. I just saw the film and scientifically speaking, I would have been better off spending the afternoon counting the hairs on my ass. Truly a piece of crap. Look, I want to be magnanimous: I could even overlook all the nonsense that you pointed out in the review if just one of the screenwriters could explain to me how the child wandering the streets with a mushy brain managed to survive for 27 days. That's all it would take for me, and - maybe - I could even think it's just a terrible movie and not a load of bull.

First point: I was absolutely convinced it was spelled "addocchiato," with two D's. And maybe even two H's. But no. Second point: if Ciuffone has had his eye on it for a while and there’s no male butt on the cover, then it might just be worth a listen.

Is this to be reevaluated too?!? :DD

To tell the truth, the fact that Running Wild haven't been given much attention by the metal crowd is more or less a historical inaccuracy. In reality, they were incredibly popular in their homeland and could afford some extravagant stage setups (like a ship bow-shaped stage and various pyrotechnic shows). The problem, if anything, is that while other bands from the same scene hit it big (e.g. Grave Digger and Blind Guardian), these guys had already peaked and didn’t fully benefit from the power metal craze of the late '90s. I also don’t quite agree on the technical aspect: when I saw them live, Rock'n Rolf literally pulled off some amazing feats, playing all the songs at an exaggerated speed, with the guitar down by his ankles while running around the stage like a madman, rallying the crowd. The album is so-so, but the title track is a punch in the face...

"On the Wings of the Sea" by Primaluce (or maybe Primaluce is the name of the album?!? I don't remember...) really risked pushing "Cantiamo Insieme" out of my personal all-time Top Ten, perhaps not in the studio version (https://www.debaser.it/main/Video.aspx?y=tgOrgS6wQrw), but definitely in the "Live @ Ristorante Pizzeria da Ciruzzo 'O Pizzicagnolo- Pizza even at noon - Tourist menu with seafood appetizer, mixed grill, side dish, coffee at € 18.00 - closed on Mondays" version (https://www.debaser.it/main/Video.aspx?y=Fu2wbR7-Pbk&feature=related starting around minute 6).

Really interesting indeed. Would you mind lending a hand to those who want to lend an ear?

It's strange to find so few comments on a review of Meglio Miglio. In my small way, I remedy that. It’s always nice to have something good to read.
