Oh, Raf... a lifetime and a half ago, I used to visit almost every Saturday afternoon to drool over the window display. Now it's been a long time since I've dropped by. By the way, I've heard it hasn't been immune to the passage of time. If you get the chance, try to stop by Music Works in Legnano. I popped my head in about a year ago to buy some cables, and it seemed really interesting!

Very nice review. But above all: I really like this cover a lot!

It's that even the navigator wouldn't want to be here and prefers to pretend to be in Denmark. If you pass by my place (or if you got lost in Busto...) let me know, so we can grab a beer! :)

Thank you, dear! And I also have quite a few records by Barbara Streisand at home. If you want, we can meet up to listen to some of them!

Great review, congratulations. I loved the Scisma (to be honest, the more "rock" ones by Rosmary) and for a while now I've promised myself to listen to something from Benvegnù's solo work. You convinced me.

In fact, I can't really complain. Like tonight with the Ufi and company briscola 60 km from home isn’t too bad... If it helps, I still remember with terror my first concert of Colour Haze: out of the hospital for 10 days, Varese-Padova round trip (totaling over 400 km) in the evening. Alone. I think I burned half my salary in one night. Ehhh... other times. Other salaries. Watch out because there’s already talk of a big meeting "DePolentoni + DeTerruncelli forever again" for Neurosis in July! :)

Basically, according to Koglek himself, the 3 from Munich spent about six months last year perfecting their analog recording studio. They poured not only all their savings into it but also the postal bonds of their respective grandmothers and the piggy banks of their children. Then they recorded the material, convinced that the result would trigger an epidemic of priapism among all the tone-deaf people around the globe. And instead... well, the result turned out to be a dinosaur's poop. Essentially, they discovered that there were acoustic issues in the room where they were recording that I didn't understand. Along with other sound technicians, they messed around with it for weeks and, perhaps, they found something worth saving. Moral of the story: they are broke and the album is still more or less up in the air. So, if they pass by your place, go see them, bring all your friends, and wipe out their merchandise table otherwise there’s no way we’re hearing the new album in 2011!:))

I've only read Leviathan by Paul Auster. I really liked it... unfortunately, I read it in a devastated psycho-physical state and I confess I didn't really enjoy it that much. Beautiful prose. I welcome any suggestions for other titles. One that I just couldn't appreciate at all was Grossman (with Auster, often a guest on Fazio). Years ago, I was recommended his "Che tu sia per me il coltello": it was one of the very few books I almost didn’t manage to finish. By the end, I would have wanted to stab the protagonist in the back... :)
