I prefer them in the EP "Excavator," which is more experimental: Ingrandisci questa immagine Notice the futuristic use of the switches and the pneumatic pump which, by the way, plays a fundamental educational role, teaching the prepubescent child that if you want to raise the digging arm, you have to pump hard.

This whole talk reminds me of a classmate from elementary school who WANTED Playmobil. While all of us spent the rest of the year waiting for Christmas, dreaming of amazing Legos, the kind that moved with a remote control the size of a ham that ran on 4 D batteries: you assembled them, disassembled them, customized them... I remember a giant red car to which I had added doors that opened upward like a Lamborghini. He, on the other hand, WANTED the Playmobil Western Ranch, the Playmobil gas station, the Playmobil fire station. It goes without saying that we mercilessly teased him. Today, he is an executive at a multinational factoring company.

The customized Corvette is God's gift to all adult men who can't accept the fact that they can no longer play with Hot Wheels (of Fire). Other cars play, Corvette kills.

Great choice. It's just that I would then feel like dressing like the Mac 5 guy: Ingrandisci questa immagine :)

Let's be clear: during my university years, I spent about a year driving - even on Saturday nights - a white '98 Daewoo, one of those with an open bed, and of course, I never got laid. But the white Ferrari is the yellow 500 of luxury cars.

In my opinion, the white Ferrari is the yellow 500 of ultra-luxury cars...

For me, they are definitely worth getting! Keep in mind, though, that they are English... and it shows. In short: a bit less desert-like and a bit more beer-oriented, especially as the albums progress. My favorites are the first one (Frequencies from planet ten, I think that was the title) and this one because the psychedelic component is a bit more pronounced. This, in particular, is an excellent middle ground between their more grounded-guitar sound and the more fluid-trippy side. The "problem" is that in the subsequent albums they became somewhat metallized-motorheadized, shifting from "music for stoned slackers" to "music for motorized alcoholics." To be honest, I’ve listened to the last 2-3 albums relatively little: they seemed like nice albums, just a bit distant from what I prefer to listen to. If you're interested, you can find their discography on the stonerobixx blog! ;)

(mmm... I'm afraid Leather Master means more or less "master leatherworker"... Perhaps not e.x.a.c.t.l.y. what I had in mind).
