Marrani, I can hardly pretend to work before I am immediately targeted by injustices (but also by tricks)!

Beautiful page. Great proposal. What is right is right.

The Witness was a good show with the undeniable merit of discussing complex topics with lightness and without unnecessary embellishments. I remember an episode dedicated to so-called "little people," set in the United States. Another featured a bisexual gigolo. There was none of that morbid fascination, that relentless and exaggerated voyeurism, that tiresome and irritating pity typical of programs (crap… oops, that slipped out!) like invincibles, invisibles, inviolables, inscrutable, and singing bullshit: no more and no less than a broadcast version of the circuses with freaks from a couple of centuries ago, stuff that even crap changes the channel in disdain. Yet it still managed to tell you something. I repeat: with lightness, with measure. A rare commodity these days.

I got it and I just started playing... I think I'm in the 4th dungeon and overall I'm having a pretty good time. I just don't understand one thing: how can I immediately know where the enemies are?! Are my creatures so smart that they automatically head straight to where the enemies are?!
Alberto Burri Plastica 1962

This section has always risked swinging dangerously between two extremes: on one hand, the clichés from high school art history textbooks, on the other hand, the trivialities of subjectivism at all costs and the nonsense of the bar expert. With this review, I believe you have managed to find an excellent balance. Congratulations. I ask you this question, considering your familiarity with the author, certain that I'll look like a fool: is it possible that Burri's plastics influenced the "deviated carnality" of Cronenberg's early works?

Mmm... I think it was just a pure coincidence. If it was done intentionally, then that's quite mean! :) Pablo, have you heard from the guy from "Ghe Pensi Mi" since then?!

A great mess. I found some things really cute (the gay roommate, the Japanese Chemical Brothers, the vegan), while others seemed a bit poorly handled (the whole story about Scott's ex, the girl with the glasses who does a million jobs and disappears about halfway through, Scott's sister). The final balance, for me, is very positive: I had fun and rushed to look for some risqué photos of Mary Elizabeth Winstead right after watching it. What more could you ask for?

It's true: the new Grails is really beautiful. "Different," but beautiful. I wish I had time to listen to it all the way through, from start to finish, without interruptions, on the stereo. According to my Google Calendar, we should be talking about it around November. Another thing I've noticed is that I can no longer just listen to an album "as is." I put it on and I almost feel the need to find something to do, otherwise I get anxious as if I'm wasting time... I hope it gets mentioned in the next five-year plan.

This review seems written for me: for this long weekend, I've decided to enjoy a nice staycation at the office. I almost let out a curse like: how nice, I get to work while everyone else is on vacation, so I can relax! Anyway, I think I've solved the "not enough time to listen" issue: lately, everything has been driving me crazy. There's not a single album released since the beginning of the year that has stayed in my car radio for more than a couple of days. I always listen to the same stuff from previous years, which I now know by heart. However, I will give this one a listen: first of all, because over the years I've learned to trust Uncle Psycho, and secondly, because these days it's been pouring down rain around here…
