Which is nothing more than what I said in comment 6 ("cell phones have practically eliminated thousands of excuses/contexts/situations on which a ton of horror-thrillers were based"), just restated with the intent of the sh*t troll that you are. And here comes our neighborhood troll, right on time, who, just to change things up, quotes King only for the sake of making a fuss: it raises the suspicion that you haven’t read anything else in the last 15 years, given how much you’ve sliced and diced King. Nice review, I enjoyed reading it. The problem is that cell phones have practically eliminated thousands of excuses/contexts/situations that a lot of horror-thrillers relied on. Kind of like fingerprints or DNA evidence with mysteries...
