In short: GUYS, WE'RE SCREWED. Yes, today I'm feeling a bit pessimistic, but tomorrow I'm going on vacation!!!

Alright, let's go with "mainstream," but... I don’t know. At the end of the day, being one among a million or one among ten thousand doesn’t really make that much of a difference. Making you feel "exclusive" is one of the biggest successes of the market: they also need the niches of the few, selected, refined... which in the end, all they (we) do is buy from a different shelf. The example of shoes is "fitting" (great double meaning): if buying Nike is too mainstream, you just have to turn to another brand - the shoes are always made by the same Vietnamese (or was it Filipino?) proletarian, and maybe it’s a Nike subsidiary, but... that kind has only been bought by another hundred thousand people (it’s a limited edition)...

I like the angle... I don't know, there's something... a certain something in the atmosphere of the photo that makes me like it. The one of The Music feels like it was taken from the stage...

Moreover, Vasco's fans pay for their tickets just like those of Massive Attack – in fact, they might even pay less.
Anyway, I wanted to compliment Rivo also for the photographs: truly excellent.

A prayer: enough, please, enough - at least for a while - of using the adjective "commercial" in reference to music (and its related industries): those who make music professionally do it to earn a living, not because they have an irresistible urge to make us listeners happy. Like everyone else, damn it: it’s a job, and no one works for free (except for the staff at de-baser). So, music is commercial by definition, being for sale - and certainly not at popular prices. Or do you think that to listen to an "alternative" or "indie" record one needs special merits? It doesn’t seem so to me; a twenty euros and a record store are enough. Didn’t you notice?

So: improve it (that's what you're doing)

Objectivity does not exist in the Universe - let alone on de-baser. What would we do with objective reviewers? We care about emotions and feelings - period.

Hey, Mr_Iko, instead of wasting time insulting those who criticize you (the other person is right, you were the one who offended them first for no reason, I just read through the comment thread, what a drag), how about – since you’re in the field (as Silvio would say) – you inform yourself (and inform us) about the copyright issues regarding samples and maybe even cover art? What do you think our situation is?
