Sondre Lerche Faces Down

Again Bergen... now I understand what they went there for zzzzz, G and Turkish in Norway?
Sparklehorse It's A Wonderful Life
Voto:
Great album. Bought it recently after seeing Sparklehorse live opening for the R.E.M. concert. Some tracks have an incredible atmosphere. The CD was the soundtrack for the very last stretch of the drive back from Norway with G and zzzzz (but they were sleeping while I drove).

G bought it in Berlin, but he didn't seem enthusiastic... even before buying it. Then nothing was heard about it anymore... I don't even remember if we listened to it in the car. G? zzzzz?

danieleerpiccoletto: elaborate a bit on the concept of "a very particular and restricted mass." It seems to me that saying "mass product," according to your theory, would be equivalent to saying "exclusive product." This confuses me (and I think it confuses several other people too). However, it could be interesting... explain it to us. In practice, the fewer people listen to a certain type of music, the more that music would be considered "mass."

There is no discussion or doubt about this record... You can talk about any other, but not this one. To have it. To listen to it. To love it.
Manu Chao & Radio Bemba Live Arena Daturi, Piacenza 02.08.2003

Look, I agree with tzunami about Manu Chao: nice to listen to in the background once or twice, but then... what a drag! The only thing that saves him, and here I obviously totally contradict djd, is that he’s committed to righteous causes.

Danieleerpiccoletto, please enter the email (in the appropriate field) when you submit a review, otherwise the system won't recognize you and will attribute your review to Anonymous Reviewers. We've sent you a private message in myDeB: basically, you are registered with two different addresses, decide which one you want to keep, and write it in a private message to turkish, thanks!
Lou Reed Live Molo del Porto Vecchio di Olbia - 27 luglio 2003
Voto:
It seems to me that the Cowboy Junkies' cover predates Stone's film (I could be wrong). I confess that when I first heard it, I was a bit annoyed – Lou Reed is too much of a legend for me – but I have to admit it's beautiful. It can't compete with the live version in Rock'n'Roll Animal, but it's beautiful. On the other hand, I hate all the covers of Satellite Of Love, each one more repulsive than the last.
