Jan Garbarek In Praise Of Dreams
Voto:
As a passionate former tenor saxophonist, I can say that Jan Garbarek doesn't have the best technique in the world, nor particularly developed creativity, nor a particularly "beautiful" sound - rather, often his sound is almost "naive"; in short, as a saxophonist, he has never struck me as an exceptional talent, quite the opposite. However, he has the gift of creating magical, unique atmospheres. It's hard not to connect them to the Norwegian landscape, the northern light, the walks on the damp moss and the rocks of Hardangervidda. I enjoy listening to him more in Norway; here, at times, he seems out of place.

Here comes Vrensis, now you've made me feel bad NickGhost. That's not how it's done, that's not right, no no no. OK, I also apologize to you: please Francis don't leave, I don't know what happened to me, I didn't mean any of what I said, you're the best, we don't deserve you but please stay anyway, your reviews are just the right length and who cares about the help. Come on, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you angry. Now I'm going to read a couple of your reviews to show you my good intentions, but please stay.

"Go ahead, mock Turkish, you know very well how things are."
See, this is an example of your arrogance. Yes, I know how things are, YOU DON'T. Do you want me to tell you how things are? November 2004 was the month with the most visitors ever. Never less than two thousand, several times more than three thousand. Some come and some go, that's life.

Oh Vrensis, look, I haven't thrown a gram of shit at you, at least until yesterday. I called you arrogant, yes, but that doesn’t exactly seem like shit to me. I couldn't care less about your provocations, just as I don't give a damn about the reliability of the site (a site called "debaser" surely doesn’t aim to give the impression of being reliable, have you ever thought about that?). As for the fact that it's the wrong people managing the site, I can only agree with you, but what can you do, it’s life (if you want to buy it, we can talk). I will never stop thanking you for the contribution you made to DeBaser, you can be sure of that: too caught up in your victimhood, you didn't notice that all your reviews have been published and edited (except for the last one that went online "as is")?

Now I’m opening a forum. “The fascism of Turkish and the censorship on DeBaser: the story of the persecution of Vrensis and the conversion of josi_ to the cult of Cave.” I feel important.
