Taking sides for the league is certainly not a fault, rather a sign of serious mental disturbance.

My son last year in kindergarten was forced (along with the rest of the class) by the teachers to sing and dance to this song... I was already a bit concerned about it (musically, let's just say), and now you’re telling me it’s about satanic practices. I'm suing the kindergarten, damn it.

Beautiful album, just like Abattoir Blues for that matter (I haven't listened to Greendale yet, but at this point...)

Dear nix_mx, as a professional you should know that advertising costs money (otherwise those who do your job wouldn't survive). You can pay directly via PayPal, at the bottom of the page, thank you. The fee is up to you (to test your honesty).

Well, damn Enkriko, let's put it this way: we at DeBaser take for granted that Tom Barman, "Worst Case Scenario," and Antwerp represent The Trinity that is mentioned in various sacred texts. Then, it's up to you.

Well, of course, keeping Nick abroad between salaries, travel reimbursements, and allowances costs us quite a bit, but the results are there, oh yes they are. Let’s just hope he doesn't start smoking crack too, you know how it is... what if he runs into Doherty...

For the other "anonymous": even if I wanted to, I couldn't "kick out" anyone at all. And anyway, I don't want to. Hi E!

To the anonymous one (but why don't you authenticate?): I was referring to Norway's recent history, didn’t it get through? I find it hard to connect today's Norwegians (whom I know well for family reasons) with the Vikings. Just as I wouldn't say that today's Italians have anything in common with imperial Rome, unless one wants to force things (as someone has even tried to do in the past). That's it. You can probably find traces of Norwegian Vikings more easily in Iceland, even in the language— in this sense, Sigur Rós are much more Viking than Burzum, just to throw in something ridiculous. And anyway, perhaps you should reread the thread: my statement, maybe a bit exaggerated, was a response to those who spoke of contemporary Norway as a "scarred nation," a concept that, if you have any clarity at all, you should find ridiculous too, come on.

Ah, just a note: the quote at the beginning of the review is from the great Roberto "Freak" Antoni, who may not have invented jazz but is nonetheless an amazing person and has also written things like: "Memories never / help / to live / rather they instill / a certain desire / to really die (Autumn Reflections - touching his package)." Aloha!

Basically: if there had been no slavery, there would be no African Americans. If there were no African Americans, there would be no blues, jazz, and rock'n'roll (in short, popular music...?). If there were no popular music, there would be no DeBaser. So DeBaser exists thanks to slavery. Shit!
