Biglietto Per L'Inferno Biglietto Per L'Inferno

Let's say it performs best with a recent browser (IE7, Firefox 2, Opera 9, Safari 3) and with the Microsoft Calibri font installed. Calibri is the default font of the new Office and is automatically installed by the latest (free) PowerPoint viewer as well.
In any case: it went online ahead of schedule (by choice) and many pages are still messed up. Aloha

Oh, little brat, "objectively ugly" is something you say to your girlfriend, got it?
It's still a work in progress, okay, but ugly, no.

Alright, let's stop with this antisemitic bullshit right now. Right now, damn it. There's no need for explanations: next time you’re banned.
Peter Greenaway Prospero's Book (L'Ultima Tempesta)
Voto:
Besides watching the film in its original version, we also went to see Greenaway in the flesh (I shook his hand, oh yeah!). For the occasion, Peter showed the approximately 2 and a half hours of film that the production had decided to cut. Then there were questions from the guests, among whom I only remember Vittorio Gregotti (partly for professional reasons since we were colleagues, partly for the sheer stupidity of his question). In short, perhaps I was more attracted to this kind of intellectual posturing back then – I was still studying, in fact – but man, today I wouldn't go to see the film again, nor the conference, not even if they paid me. I've seen everything by Greenaway (even "The Falls": and if anyone knows it, they know it's not exactly a walk in the park, especially if watched in summer in a small room without air conditioning), but today I wonder how I liked it so much. Prospero's Book, then, was, as far as I'm concerned, the beginning of the end for Greenaway: the subsequent The Baby of Macon and The Pillow's Book were the last ones I went to see, and I didn't appreciate them at all. Then I stopped, and today I live better. However, until "The Cook the Thief His Wife & Her Lover," it was really interesting.

Even the title, in addition to the cover, is Oscar-worthy.
