The album was produced and mixed by the Duke together with his trusty Tony Vosconti (Bowie fans will surely know who that is). As for the rest... they are now broadcasting on raisat extra the fabulous performance (for 600 loyal members of his online fan club) at the BBC, from which a recording was also made (remember the album I reviewed, Bowie at the BBC - the BBC session? Well, that’s the third album). Today it was scheduled for 5:00 PM and they’ll re-broadcast it at 2:15 AM (I think). Then they’ll do it again, check the raisat website for further information. WATCH IT! It’s off the charts, I swear, and for those who will see the Milan Concert, they will already enjoy the chemistry of the band that we are going to see.

Anyway, here are some additional "didactic" details: the album comes (as usual by now) in two versions: a "normal" one and a digipack version with a second CD containing two songs removed from the tracklist and an incredible pseudo-reggae version of his famous "rebel rebel," which was already featured as part of the soundtrack for Charlie's Angels 2. The musicians are the usual close-knit band of Bowie, whom we'll also see live in Milan: Sterling Campbell - drums, Mark Plati - guitars, bass, and Ingenuity (lots of ingenuity!), the statuesque and charming (though not exactly beautiful) Gail Ann Dorsey on bass (she loves to perform barefoot!) and lead guitar Earl Slick.
