Unofficial news, but from a reliable source: Dream Theater have changed their singer. The name of the new one is still unknown, and there’s nothing on the website yet. Moreover, it seems that Myung has gotten tired and that the new bassist will probably be Sean Malone, the same bassist who plays in Portnoy's band. I heard it from what I believe is the best Italian guitarist, whom I only know online, but I won’t tell you his name because it wouldn't be right. He has his drummer who is currently in the U.S.A. studying with Portnoy, which is why he knows. The guy is reliable; he just sent me 40 CDs...

The story is that Bowie always claimed he did it out of true love and admiration for Iggy and Lou, whom he said he looked up to. The story has taught us that in reality, he never truly drew inspiration from the two (but also from Bolan, Lennon, etc.), he simply improved upon their work. Anyway, if I weren't such a Bowie fan, I would put Reed on the same level as him. Lennon? Out of competition...

We’re missing this piece (maybe a transmission error, who knows?): News number 4: You won't find this disc in your little shop (it rhymes again): you should have bought it online from Petrucci’s website when it was available! Now “this CD is currently not available but will soon be re-released with bonus tracks” so wait drooling for the new edition containing the entire concert and the dialogues between the two. Or find a few copies here and there, but you’ll have to put in some effort to track it down not in bootleg version.
