King Crimson 24 Giugno 2003 - Live in Roma

The Raven by Lou Reed, Cicciput (Elio), the last of Placebo, Radiohead, 100 finestre... I can't think of any other rock ones, but I have quite a few jazz ones (MMW, Esbjorn Svensson, Metheny, etc). Why?

Well, even Let's Dance is a "pop" album, and that doesn't exclude it from being absolutely amazing! Let's dance together another time again...

I'm a bit doubtful that you're 16. Seems like an alias to me!

The mere fact that at sixteen you went to see the K.C. moves me! So the next generation is not just the product of domestic violence! You’re great! Don’t get stuck on appearances, keep exploring music to the farthest depths. Don’t care if your peers tease you because you listen to "old" music: there is no difference between old and new music, between rock and psychedelic rock, between jazz and metal: the only difference we need to know is between GOOD and BAD music. It hurts my soul, but I want to give you a grade: I’m not rating your review (I’m against rating reviews, I never do), I’m rating your bravery and your perseverance: 10 cum laude! Others in this community, older than you, have a lot to learn from you!

But listen a bit... It seems like everyone wants to teach me something... Now I also get the suggestion to limit the use of vulgar epithets. Okay, Antonella, I’ll take a wild guess: you are 16 years old and you’ve listened to a total of 24 albums, 7 of which are by the RHCP. Therefore, I can assert that you are not capable of adding any supplementary musical information to what I already possess. Too bad, maybe next time. Terrible album.

It annoys me quite a bit that as a nickname you can take pride in being a "Byrne." Annoyance slightly sssssuppressed by the realization that surely you will also appreciate one of my favorites.

I've always found Pearl Jam boring. I've always thought their songs are the result of "borrowing" here and there. I even find Ten to be a pop music album. Sorry, I don’t share your enthusiasm. The music of Pearl Jam sounds too easy to my ears. I might be wrong, but in my opinion, there are much more interesting things.

Tina, I've been with a girl for 9 (!) years... To put it in Elio's words, I think this time you really messed up... :-)

So Serestoppone: from the first Bowie definitely Ziggy, Hunky Dory, and The Man Who Sold the World. From the "second" Bowie Station to Station and the Berlin trilogy (Heroes, Low, Lodger). Plus Scary Monsters and, of course, Let's Dance. If you like the sounds of modern electronics, also Outside and Earthling. Byez!
