I think the same applies to the Threshold as it does for another great band, Elegy: they've always lacked that something that could propel them to the next level, perhaps not just from a purely musical standpoint, but also in terms of their behavior. They've always lived in the shadow of Theater or Fates Warning, despite not being technically inferior. Well, the mysteries of the music business...
