Well, the band is called Queen+ Rodgers, to identify a new creature. Perhaps the choice May/Rodgers/Taylor would have been happier, but probably the commercial allure of the word "Queen" was too strong to be overshadowed.

The album sweet dreams is sold on Amazon starting at 40 pounds. I still remember that it was discussed with enthusiastic tones in the column "...and justice for all" of the old magazine HM, something like 16-17 years ago. Upon listening, it didn't seem exceptional to me, a bit Manowar, Dio, Sabbath, in short, the same old tired riff.

The problem with Metallica is somewhat similar to the problem with Dream Theater, that is, the tendency to make albums that are too long, perhaps to justify the hefty financial outlay. Too much filler, tracks that could have been of much better quality if properly streamlined, and in general a frenzy to fill up the disc as quickly as possible. I probably won't be getting the album; if it's a return to thrash, then good for me, but if I want to return to thrash, I’ll just listen to Rust in Peace or Master of Puppets.
