I had the pleasure of discovering this great and (unfortunately for many) unknown group with "Under the Milky Way" (from the beautiful STARFISH), a true gem of atmosphere for anyone with a broad concept of rock music. The same goes for HEYDAY, even more atmospheric where "Already Yesterday" takes the lead alongside the volcanic "Night of Light." The work you analyzed with great expertise is always part of those albums that one promises to listen to over time, and I hope to do so as soon as possible. See you soon.
Dire Straits Love Over Gold

A disc of great value where the compositional and instrumental talent of the one and only Knopfler shines through. A band that will find further confirmations and will soon embark on their second significant tour. What else is there to "say"....LOVER OVER GOLD ...forever.
Primus They Can’t All Be Zingers

The unmissable appointment with dear Lawrence could only be called Primus. A beautiful performance.
Mark Knopfler Local Hero

Listening to this soundtrack is always a tremendous pleasure. Even more so to learn that the soundtrack of this page will become a musical, with its premiere scheduled for 2019 at the Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh before making its way to the renowned Old Vic in London. For Mark Knopfler, it’s a well-deserved reevaluation, also in the role of composer for what can be defined as "film music."
The Who MAXIMUM AS & BS : THE COMPLETE SINGLES

"I hadn't listened to their discography in ages and it was like discovering them all over again." This is the sentence I've always avoided putting in my highly organized writings, but it reflects me the most. Spontaneous and detailed analysis as always!
Pink Floyd The Wall

This piece would have been great in a special maybe dedicated to the "alleged" most overrated albums of all time. Personally, the album will remain in my discography dedicated to the past, present, and future.

This is indeed a nice piece of news, and if the preview of "Way Down" (a voice that, even considering its uncommon origins) is meant to promote the album, it does so well, just like you do with your writing. Hi Conte.
Anathema A Sort of Homecoming

After the latest releases you've published, it was only to be expected that you would come out with a review of them in your usual highly competent manner. For me as well, I prefer to remember "A Sort of Homecoming" as the opening of that great piece of history titled THE UNFORGETTABLE FIRE, which I still enjoy listening to today, thinking of U2 as a great band from yesterday... but (I hope no one takes offense) also from today.
