Dear Falloppio, the first four and a half lines resonate with me due to the similarity of our experiences. The rest of what you write is truly a dive back into those years that were also a journey of musical discovery for me. But perhaps it's also because we should be contemporaries. Two comments in an hour on a review from six years ago made me think a bit about an exceptional and contemporary rediscovery of an album that many struggle to mention as significant works in the Pink Floyd discography. The last two albums you refer to, while not among my favorites, I have reassessed over time and today they play in my stereo even more than the more famous works of the English group.
