Mark Knopfler Privateering
Voto:
I didn't expect such uniformity of opinions on this album, and while Mark Knopfler is a figure who in the past has managed to bring many minds together, today with this work I believe we can acknowledge a confirmation of the Scottish guitarist's ability to write songs that still engage the listener. “Privateering” is a blend of good music to enjoy and a chapter that affirms the desire not to repeat oneself, from an artist who loves to follow his creative instincts without compromise.
Paul Di'Anno's Battlezone Children Of Madness
Voto:
Paul Di Anno, a great singer with excellent charisma. After all, if the songs from the first two Iron Maiden albums are still among the most applauded during their current tours, there must be a reason. Without detracting from the skill and unique interpretative style of Bruce Dickinson, of course.
The Damned Phantasmagoria
Voto:
Excellent review, well done Danny, for an album that not many know and is worth a listen.
U2 The Unforgettable Fire
Voto:
A memorable album that introduced them to the Italian public, at a time when access to significant musical novelties could only come through specialized magazines and a few late-night radio shows. Great choice with Brahms, and well showcased too.

It's the album that will make (once again) 30-somethings fall in love with rock music, even though it will be "The Unforgettable Fire" (1984) that catapults them among the champions of a brilliantly "melodically driving" sound, aided also by the supporting tour with a super performance in Bologna the following year.
Bruce Springsteen Born To Run

I know it's hard to resist saying 4 words about this phenomenal record... that seems to have been rediscovered by so many these days.

The album has some tracks worthy of more than just one listen, and the review is enjoyable as well.

Dear Rax, by now you collect 80% of the comments on debaser, a big hello, but I like "Revolver."
U2 Rattle And Hum
Voto:
In its own way, a masterpiece that I encourage everyone to purchase if they haven't already... I am (almost) sure that it will be few.
The Beatles Revolver

The compact accompanied me for almost the entire last summer. To be reassessed!!!
