I fully agree on the fascinating and engaging music, even if it’s not my favorite genre.

Certainly among the most valid... thanks for the vote The closure of the ’80s for Simple Minds is entrusted to a valid album that nonetheless concludes an artistic cycle. I notice very different opinions, which expressed in full respect of everyone belonging to this spontaneous community of enthusiasts can only enrich us all. Thank you for the contributions and the (too) kind evaluations.
Alan Sorrenti Figli delle stelle

Dear Danny, it took me longer to digest the early career of good ol' Alan (the prog stuff from the first 3 albums... for clarity) than it does to take in this record. It just requires a lot of good will and pleasantly going back in time. Nice review, by the way.

Competent technical dissertation, Chicco… and it’s also true that most readers know the album, but considering that there are and will always be “new listeners” (… fortunately), given your deep knowledge of music, a few more words about the tracks, in my opinion, would undoubtedly have enhanced the listening experience. Good job anyway.

Well done Gallagher. Essential and fluid writing that also partly reflects my judgment for a record of value.
Simple Minds Live - In the City of Light

It doesn't matter to be biased; I believe that if it weren't a "massive live" (as you defined it..), you wouldn't have hesitated to write it.... enjoy the listening and thank you for the intervention and the generous assessment.

Considering I’m not a huge fan of prog, my love for Yes finds comfort in a discography that can be somewhat uneven but always capable of offering remarkable pleasant moments. I absolutely don’t think that an album can be reviewed the same way multiple times; I’ve (almost) never come across copy-paste reviews. Good work again.

You said it all about an album that shouldn't be missing from the archive of every good psychedelic...
