Then there's a small typo to point out: Cuccurullo was fired, he didn't walk away from them, in front of the super offer to reunite the original band in full for the USA tour a few years back... now they've fired Andy Taylor... will the outraged (as you say) Cuccurullo come back...? (and let me say, stuff for washing dishes from the pizzeria like limoncello, don't drink it, go on... switch to something better, the world is full of grappas that deserve...)

It's so, so, so easy to shoot down the Durans... of course, it would be more revolutionary and courageous to try to seriously and objectively examine the best works of the Durans and other "pop" groups (let's call them that for short) of the '80s. People who knew about the existence of major seventh chords... it's incredible that those who get excited by clowns like Oasis have something to complain about... sure: if you take Medazzaland (an objectively much lesser album) to criticize the band or the '80s, you're being simplistic, and even slightly dishonest...

Well... Aries... either you’re not a devotee of the E Street, or you can't possibly put this album (result of the worst tour of the Boss ever) on the same level as the other live stuff released (officially or not) with the E Street or solo (in the true sense of solo). To say that the versions of the classics compete is, excuse me, almost heresy.

I almost forgot...: one of the less beautiful albums by Guccio (along with the last two, let's admit it), but using it to attack the character in general is something I can't quite classify as more vile or, perhaps, fundamentally pointless...

rece blinded by ideology, by preconceptions and a bit of foolishness...the dullness of leftist Italian singer-songwriter...then...oh my goodness...still, it's comforting to know that you amuse yourself with the playful cheerfulness of Joni Mitchell and the tavern jokes of James Taylor...but come on...pulett...

an honest character and honestly overrated

On the lyrics, there's no discussion. Nor on the qualities of the performers... The energy of the Boss can only be assessed by those who have seen him live; there was indeed a time when concerts stretched over 4 hours of pure ecstasy, and that's a fact that is hard to dispute. For me, it's also indubitable that musically he has said incredible things alongside some that are a bit repetitive... Of course, when it comes to repetition no one really beats Dylan (and I say this as someone who reveres him, mind you). The Boss, essentially, is in my opinion an indisputable and outstanding figure in modern music (it's up to each person to evaluate whether he's an 8, 9, or 10, but he's certainly not any less... unless the world, as a global prodigy would say, has all gone "crazy"....)

Poletti (usual question to which you won’t answer): who would be, in Italy, a thousand (a good thousand...nothing less...) times better than him...?? Then, we can’t mock the pope (okay...fine...) but neither Tozzi...????? I wonder...where are we headed...?

thank you all.@tom: you reminded me of the title: it's "up on the hill." thanks to the others too, I'm glad I conveyed the idea (primiballi.blogspot.com)

I go against my autumn vow and respond again to what calls itself (oh insult and absurdity...) like the guitar and voice of the Pink: but will you stop dishing out verdicts and start giving some reasoning as well, or must we all think that you offer no justifications because you're incapable of providing them...? Technically, harmonically, vocally, and literarily, what is there to criticize about this album, and, in general, how can the Boss be deemed overrated???? (of course, any non-technical answer or silence will be interpreted as a peaceful admission of ignorance)
