I believe, as someone said, dear Aires, that even the early solo albums had something original to say (let's say... up to Soul Cages included)... then the increasingly unbearable nerdy drift began...

Thank you all. To those who accuse the excess (or the entirety...) of synthesis in the description of the album, I say that, aside from being my style - those who read me know this... - there's really very little to say about this album... nothing more, in fact, than an invective... if you want, I can bore you for pages with the harmonic banality of the solutions, including the orchestral ones, the flatness of the "pungiglione" singing, etc... etc...: such a drag.... just know that the only recent orchestral album I consider worthy and original is "Gattini" by Elio... dear Tiziocaio, first of all thank you, and I must say, from a distance I confirm everything above, in addition to all that you have so clearly said.... absolutely minor record...unfortunately, after extreme discs (and for me beautiful) like canzoni a manovella or ovunque proteggi, it's easy to take a step back.... kisses (if you like my writings and want to participate in a more "intimate" "Bar" than this, go to ugualepertutti.com)

wanting to... but all the others are short... and then today it is undeniable that there is the trend of "at least 400 pages"... it says a lot and means little... too often... kisses (and, a suggestion, read it: she’s really good)

@berlinboy85: of course I appreciate the quote (from Mourinho, right?) and I don't mind playing the role of the prostitute... but, a few questions: if I am the prostitute, who is the client? And also, I don't know if you make music, but if you do, I'd schedule an appointment with you in about forty years (since '85) to see if you can write and play like that...

there's subjectivity and a criterion, even loosely, objective...if for almost 50 years musicians, critics, and millions of people have gone crazy for the Stones, I would use the phrase "me fanno cagà" or similar (appropriate and legitimate absolutely and always, a priori) but not "they're useless"....anyway, we understand each other. dear schizoid, author of a tribute to de andrè's son and a load of niche albums (possibly beautiful, for heaven's sake), how can you consider the Stones useless (truly useless, with all the adjectives out there...)? Useless also Mozart? Also Miles? Is uselessness synonymous with success or genius for you? Kisses

Thank you all: @alia76, I'm sorry that our opinions diverge so much, but I would encourage you to consider the fact that (Liga aside, I obviously respect your opinions) from a compositional point of view, there is nothing, and I mean nothing, about today's Prince that makes him comparable to the "pre-1988" one... it's a fact, my dear boy, love aside (today, I will always repeat, Prince is "only" an unmatched performer). @the others: I thank those who appreciate my style. For those who say "enough with Liga," I throw out the usual provocation: why do only a few show up in my jazz reviews, while in the (I admit: somewhat provocative) reviews of Liga&Vasco, there are 400...? Well.... Kisses to all (ugualepertutti.com)
