Allen is a genius; I have no doubts about that. But non-repetitiveness is definitely not one of his best traits....

But, excuse me... either I didn't understand or I'm being a bit dense (or both), but when and where did Conte make the superb "insieme a te non ci sto più"...? And to think I'm a long-time supporter of Conte... not to mention modestly a colleague...

Thirty years ago, I was 8, so you would be ten years ahead... and for someone like me who has done military service, it is known that "seniority counts"... Anyway, I too have always been part of the club of "what matters is feeling old on the inside"... kisses

Rod Stewart and Art Garfunkel have both dedicated recent albums to the great American songs (mostly the usual, beautiful ballads). That’s what I meant. For the rest, thank you all, the page was liked, and that's what matters. Recently, however, Vanoni's absolute album is "argilla" (this is a great glossy for those who are old inside...). Give it a listen. A truly incredible album. @odradek: are we quite sure... about the age, I mean?
Zucchero feat. Miles Davis Dune Mosse

Troccolo: wrong. "Doo-bop" is a monstrous unfinished album, and we will never know how Miles truly wanted it to be. However, his improvisation there isn’t awful, and his phrasing isn’t terrible. In this Zucchero track, there’s an unrecognizable Miles, if not for the sound, which seems like he’s trying to find the key... embarrassing stuff, which Miles when alive would never have released, and indeed he didn’t release it, while alive...

Thank you very much. One of the beautiful things about DeB is when someone reads, and appreciates, your writings after quite some time... Truly, re-reading myself, I realized what a wonderful experience it has been (and it seems that Guccio, having concluded his almost never-ending tour, is working on the new album... honestly, I would really like that).

Well... Poletti, I don't know. If you think, like I do, that all of Allen's films are one long, beautiful movie, then the conversation changes. If, on the other hand, we want to make the usual comparisons, "Another Woman" is a beautiful film, but for me it's hardly comparable to either Manhattan or Annie Hall.

in fact...: this time I really didn't want to. The idea of staying up at night to battle it out with others online seemed ridiculous, and the thought of getting them marked up by scalpers even more so... The fact is, my brave guitarist stayed up and, I don’t know how, he snagged 12... so, Iside, you're right. I'll be there on the 25th... as always...

Certainly, some lines are among the best ever (in my opinion, "try giving him the gift" referring to the dead man is worthy of the best Groucho, perhaps even more...)

great film, which, forgive me, it's a bit cliché to point out how it's a return to Keaton after the crisis with Farrow. It is, simply put, an Allen film, or rather, another chapter (very beautiful, by the way) of the long Allenian Film. Frantic style given by the shoulder-mounted camera, used a lot (a true stylistic novelty for Allen in this film). Anyway, the review is good, and the film is excellent.
