@trick: the generational problem is real. I've addressed it multiple times in the things I've written. Unfortunately, I believe that it takes a lot of humility, plenty of self-irony, and not a little culture to understand that we love certain things for exclusively generational reasons, which have nothing to do with the quality of the object of our affection (for instance, I love "cosa succede in città" by Vasco... recklessly and without any sense). It's clear that this wonderful showcase (DeB) provides the opportunity for all kinds of egotism (often awkward and ultra-teenage), which serves the sole purpose of saying, "the album from my 17 years is the greatest in the history of music, and now I'm going to explain it to you." Those who possess the three characteristics I mentioned above don't act this way, but in the long run, I assure you, they won't even get angry anymore. ...limits of democracy...? Kisses link rotto

@nerodisera: between '96 and '97, "macramè" by Fossati and especially "anime salve" by De André were released, two shining, and splendid examples of the extreme evolution of Italian singer-songwriter music (or cant'autorato, which might be a mistake but is beautiful...). Of course, I admit the shake that Consoli seemed to give, but she proved, over the years, if not a bluff, a great disappointment. link rotto

@tom: I don’t know why, but I’ve never been able to fall in love with shellac, even though I initially had a crush on the single... who knows... maybe I loved the ruse too much... Anyway, I’ll reiterate my top seven, with a special mention for "the void," which I also reviewed and wanted to re-review after a while... best regards recensioni-primiballi.blogspot.com/

In Italy, there have been much more beautiful and courageous things even 10, 20 years ago... let's set a limit to the "generationalism" of what we write... That said, the album is interesting, pleasant, and at Sanremo it truly made an impact (and I liked it a lot). The problem is that the singer laid out all the stylistic elements there that she continued to repeat until today, absolutely incapable of renewing herself and experimenting in the true sense of the term. Not a great novelty for Italian music, but, in my opinion - of course - a great illusion. link rotto

I think so... and rumors have it that there was a "pre-tour" event at the Forum, and that this summer's tour will be right in line with tradition... well... I have to say that I didn't mind the "condensed" version at all, actually...! Maybe now, in 2.5 hours, they can really give their all, in terms of pleasure and energy... anything more might be risky... anyway, we’ll see at San Siro... link rotto

Sorry, "anime salve" is '96 not '86... arterio galoppa... (so there are definitely, in the 20 years, and on that album at least 5 tracks that are decidedly superior to Odysseus)

@babel...20 or 21/22...? if we go for 21/22 I would confidently say "anime salve"...(song, obviously, but also almost all the others from the album...) right? link rotto

for me it remains a great album, but it's known that poletti usually, for me, is on the other side of the world, or almost... @pinosac: did you participate...? in what sense? link rotto

@babel: the most beautiful of the last twenty years...? I’d say that’s an exaggeration (but we should think about what ā€œthe most beautifulā€ means... for me, just off the top of my head, ā€œla valigia dell'attoreā€ by De Gregori, for example, is superior). Anyway, I agree about "Ritratti": it’s mannered, but in an amazing way...
