Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band London Calling Live in Hide Park

@maucirano: I think you should soften your judgment taking many things into account...: first of all, age. As a musician, in my very small way (you know, I mentioned it above...otherwise I'll tell you: I’m part of the tribute band to the Boss Hungry Hearts, if you want to see us and hear us on MySpace and Facebook, all of us between 40 and 50 years old...except for one young guy) I assure you that in the E-Street age is felt much less than in similar cases, and the "kids" have energy to spare. Imperfections: but do you remember the bootlegs from back then...? Energy to spare, real volcanoes, but errors galore...I heard the other day Big Man going way out of tune, or a live version of Jungleland from '75 with guitar solos (all wrong, off-key and out of tune) instead of the long classic sax solo...in short: they have always shone for exuberance, not certainly for perfection...in fact: the imperfection, born from exuberance, was one of their greatest strengths...; and the exuberance, considering we’re talking about sixty to seventy-year-olds, is more present than anywhere else.

@amoryblaine: there wasn't just that... do you think "41 shots" is a recent unreleased track...?

If you read well, I said the same thing (I personally, in the minority, believe that the best one is the New York one from about ten years ago... but I wrote that...). Kisses

a thoroughly civil comment, although I obviously do not share it...: since you seem to be someone who loves music, and I hope equally the words, I would try to invite you to listen, in silence, without haste and with the lyrics in hand, to Nebraska... then, if you don't fall in love... well... it means it just wasn't meant to be... and anyway, thank you for the appreciation.

this record is proof that the "recent" Prince is above all a formidable stage animal

@donnie: it’s not very clear since, fundamentally, I didn't understand it either... it's an album that's enjoyable to listen to... it has a very eighties sound, which can be liked or disliked, but it is objectively much lower in composition compared to the eighties works... the best ones in my opinion...: everything from 1999 to Lovesexy... after that, it’s all inferior (with occasional highlights... I agree with those who said that if he had made two or three albums from about twenty between '88 and today, using only the best tracks, they would probably be masterpieces) kisses (ugualepertutti.com)

Regarding the presence of the bimbiminchia, I can't confirm much since, being a good elder, I was in the very last rows of the stands... I would say yes, a very heterogeneous audience, but definitely younger under the stage (indeed, I remember some very young ones being carried away after fainting...) @donnie: there are two of us, but I'm with you... Chinese Democracy is a great album (and the concert, believe me, was of very high level).

@larock, if you read carefully, you'll see that the "fish out of water" was just the one in front of the "damned" (...or already...) Murderdolls... I had more fun with Guns than I ever expected.

Okay, superior stinghe, I will try to vibrate less negatively, to martellare more, to sweat it out with the sweat of my old forehead in the (certainly vain) hope of becoming, perhaps, one day, who knows, like you... and to be able to mount the maionchi too, though I don't even know who that is (unfortunately forced to know who Carfagna is...)
