Dire Straits Alchemy

For me it's beautiful, definitely ONE of the live performances in the history of rock, but this, I repeat, for me. Anyway, great review and album, no matter how you think about it, unmissable.
Queen + Paul Rodgers Return Of The Champions

I haven't listened to the album, and this review from radiodeejay, seemingly paid for to the point of shame, certainly doesn't encourage me to take it seriously. More than just letting it go, I want to suggest (in a fit of presumption of good faith...) to print the review that surely got left out in the cut and paste...

beautiful record (but let's not tear our hair out). we are in a phase where the influence of Conti is still strong (same production and arrangements -...pre-Conti dispute with Marangolo...understood....- and partially the same band). the Waitsian influence, on the other hand, is less present (and awkward) here than elsewhere. from a distance, the doubt is: is VC (or was VC) really the future of Italian singer-songwriter music...?
Enrico Ruggeri Punk prima di te
Voto:
never seen a dichotomy (...fuck...) so absolute between the beauty of the idea and the ugliness of the execution. Yes...: but punk was like that. Maybe that's true, and maybe I could have spared myself from getting it, despite the honestly cheap price...
Enzo Jannacci L'uomo a metà

beautiful album, far superior to the previous one...

Paolo Conte Elegia
Voto:
Conte live....: well...this is another nice topic... Like all never-ending tours, sooner or later they exhaust and become tiresome... there's nothing to be done. Conte loves the live dimension, and he's almost a slave to it. He enjoys himself and makes money. But listening again to the live performance when he shared the band with Guccini... well... it's definitely another thing... Anyway, thank you all for the appreciation.
The Beatles The White Album

absolutely exquisite album. the only question I have is whether to place it before or after Abbey Road (which I have always worshipped as a perfect object of cult).

poor homeland was simple, banal hermeneutics. or at least that's how I see it...

I have to tell the truth...? It scares me a little... (more than anything, I'm afraid of the purchase that stays on the shelf for years, years, and years...)
