When we listen to this album, my bassist and brother and I always tell each other that "whatever Dalla has done or will do, we will always be indebted to him." It's one of the most beautiful albums in the noble history of Italian songwriting. rece giusta (I would have been even more enthusiastic… just imagine…)

I still agree with the Punisher. Between me and my musicians, "bollitura bennatica" has been a saying for years now... of course, I wouldn't place Bennato, the shadow of himself, on the same level as De Gregori... (whose latest "Pezzi" is a heartfelt and well-written album)... but with the others - unfortunately - yes...

I’m sorry, but I’m going to be blunt: it’s a mess. Not for what’s inside, which is obviously divine, but for the disgustingly Christmas/commercial project, with two or three red herrings, some of which are truly offensive. For example, the "gimmick" of de-digitalization is nonsense that should outrage both amateurs and professionals. An unheard-of track (not a must-have) and a 45 RPM for the first time on CD...: this is to encourage me and you to buy it. I feel very sorry for the always lovely Dori, but, I repeat what I’ve already said elsewhere, in front of Ghezzi-Ono, Mrs. Veronese in Battisti draws all my sympathy and admiration. What a shame. I have only one doubt: whether these operations are more pathetic or disgusting.

unfortunately not... but that might be a limitation of mine, I fear. if modern saxophone stopped with Trane (at least for me), the female voice stopped earlier... the piano later... a complex and highly subjective discussion...
