ooohhh, finally someone who says what I've been waiting for days... it was partly a provocation, partly not... Manzoni in Italy wrote things that were absolutely inferior to many of his contemporaries, for example, the French... but definitely inferior to things from before... at least in my opinion... just like Tamaro sells excessively well in an Italy that often seems culturally too distracted and superficial... but of course these are my ideas, somewhat exaggerated for the sake of provocation...

Sure, if we identify a "mystical period" (which can definitely make sense), this is certainly a peak. "e ti vengo a cercare" is, after all, a piece of absolutely undeniable historical importance (so much so that it started the -now tarnished- tradition of "light" concerts in the Vatican). That being said... it's an album I’ve never loved to madness, unlike others, but perhaps this is solely and purely subjective. @surferkangaroo: my blog is an invitation only for those who want to visit it (if it bothers you, just don’t go and that’s that), Lauzi was a great artist, and if you knew Battiato well, you would know that he also loved him dearly, including "ritornerai" in one of his albums. Anyway, every now and then reading a nice pointless post reminds us of the relativity of the world and things.

feel it: you will listen to something that is anything but commercial. look at it: you will see that it is published by Deutsche Grammophon, so neither the same production nor the same distribution. everything can be said about this record, except that it is a cheap trick. cheers
