You are so well-prepared about Pink that you missed the point (track, not album); in short... a bit mellow, or, to be generous, a bit spark. And the Pink/Boss comparison was initiated by you...: I quote you literally, because I am not up to imitating you: "...or the same The Division Bell by the legendary Pink Floyd, and you will realize that your Liga and Bruce are just half measures..."

Thank you all, and I'm obviously pleased that a debate has emerged, for once, without too many insults... Naples is a city I have always loved and admired, especially for its culture. If some journalist has only just now realized the degradation, well... I couldn't care less. I noticed the degradation a long time ago (as I have with much of the south) and find it unacceptable, especially for all the good people who live here and deserve better. What I fear is that we have gotten ourselves into a pure "vicious circle," from which it is really difficult to escape, whether through good means or with the simple and democratic weapon of voting...

Great review (unintentionally I did something similar, at least in intent, with "Napule è"...right there next to it)

I know the album by reputation, while I have almost all the rest (especially Formula3)...: but is it available...? When I got married, at the dinner with friends, almost everyone there was a musician, and Radius happened to be at the table next to us with some friends, in the Piacenza hills, in front of tortelli and pisarei e fasò... I took it as a beautiful sign. A great character, unfortunately fundamentally another underrated one.

@vitovita: it’s probably also a generational issue (you are definitely younger than me), but I see more than one Author's pen in this record, which I don’t see anymore (even if there’s a lot of good in "persone silenziose").

"'what do you want from me' from 'the division bell' is identical, in the beginning and in the arrangements, to an earlier song by Pink (which one, davejon...? come on...: little question mark). the rest of the album is all self-citation, a tired and uninspired work, although wonderfully packaged (definitely much inferior to the previous and first Watersless). @tiziocaio: I appreciate and share what you say about the Boss, but we cannot deny him, with two albums, especially, ('tom joad' and 'devils & dust'), the courage to sit down again and write great lyrics on (usual...I agree) music...however, along with the other aspects of honesty you described, it distances him significantly from all the ultra-billionaires like him. then one cannot overlook the absolute honesty and depth of a project like the one on Seeger's music... regarding Pink, I tell you that I believe there is something in Waters' solo work that is worth noting, as well as in Gilmour's."

Thanks to everyone (except for those who argue...even if very provoked) @mullah: thank you, that was exactly the reaction I wanted on my page. Let's hope for the best for Naples and the South (not that things are so much better up here...especially from a cultural standpoint...), Italy has the numbers, even if it often doesn't seem like it...(primiballi.blogspot.com)

I need to make a somewhat public announcement: some have written to my personal email asking for copies of the unpublished Battisti works. I promised the person who sent them to me by mail not to pass anything on to anyone, and I have kept this promise, as (I believe) have almost all those in the circle (a sort of Battistian freemasonry) to which the person who sent them belonged... However, something always slips through, and on the mulo, as well as elsewhere, things can be found... there’s always someone who shares anything... Sorry, but I cannot (and do not want to) (also, the Battisti family, which I fundamentally have great respect for, does not joke around on these matters...). (primiballi.blogspot.com)

@nick81: I recorded the seagull (said in slang) from the mixer, and it’s a perfect recording, just like all the other Don Giovanni tracks...: baby it's you / day by day / the pain is gone / a woman as a friend / lady / going to the movies / take it as it comes / afraid of falling / I think of you. Then I need to make a note, more or less public: some people wrote to my personal email asking for copies of the unreleased Battisti tracks. I promised the person who sent them to me by mail not to share anything with anyone, and I believe I’ve kept that promise, as have almost all the others in the circle (a sort of Battisti masonry) to which the person who sent them to me belonged... but something always slips through the cracks, and on the mule, as elsewhere, you can find things... there’s always someone sharing anything... sorry, but I can't (and don’t want to) (besides, the Battisti family, whom I have great respect for, doesn’t joke around with these things...).
