You know, dear Woodstock, Faber's compositional talent is unmatched, especially when it comes to the literary aspect...: in this, if I'm not mistaken, the son doesn't write the lyrics, so (perhaps rightly) he avoids the comparison. As for the composition of the music, he's quite good, but in this respect, it's Faber who hasn't written in years (De Gregori, Bubola, Pagani, Fossati were writing, in that order...)... so they're all talented, very talented, in their own ways, and considering that Faber is one of the greatest geniuses of the twentieth century...(Cristiano not so much, bless his heart)... in short: the comparison is certainly less disparaging than with the De Sica... Kisses.

@gustavino: you have to see Buscaglione and Carosone as the previous step, respectively, Conte and the Daniele of the golden years: winding streets between our melodies and America, with brilliant and (for the time) cutting-edge lyrics, imbued with that serious illness that now only a few of us have: self-irony and the ability to not take oneself too seriously... re-listen to them, without prejudice, pretending to be 40-50 years old... in exchange, I’ll try to pretend to be 20 for a while (and as always, thanks for the review on ugualepertutti.com)

Aside from the fact that Buscaglione and Carosone were absolute geniuses, revolutionaries, and innovators, should I really stop talking about Coltrane in the hope/convinction that a Tracanna or any Giammarco could measure up...? Alia, of the ones you mentioned I've heard: Le Luci, Moltheni, and Bugo, and, as the poet would say, they literally make me want to vomit, so I won't talk about them. It's not for me, and I believe that's legitimate. Just as I think it's legitimate to assert that the old great school of Italian singer-songwriter tradition hasn't had successors of equal caliber (it seems the people agree with me, considering all the names mentioned are niche, and I don't think it's just because people are ontologically and aprioristically stupid...: I remind you that Moltheni did his nice Sanremo, he had his showcase). Kisses.

it's not a matter of making a fuss...it's that Claudio already had within him all the elements of decline (self-referentiality, baroque excesses, etc...) but, obviously in my opinion, now these elements have reached the level of total unbearable-ness (even though I agree, some things, like the duet with Battiato, are more than acceptable...but then you end up with Bocelli and Titti Iron....) Kisses

@casamorta: obviously, don’t start from here, for reasons that are obviously better left unexplained... start from "Scaramante." Kisses

thank you all! @editors: damn... I was wondering how long this thing would go on… (I tried, I confess… laziness and work to blame…: from next time, I swear, covers). Capital letters: I do it on purpose. Those I love get them, those I don’t, don’t. It’s a form of confessed disdain. But if we’re going to vote for kindness, or even just to kind (forced), I’ll change my approach and from next time I’ll use them for Pezzali and Berlusconi too. Big kisses

@voiceface: to discuss it better, when can we consider it an EP and when an LP? Kisses

Dear Aries, just one Inneres Auge is enough... sometimes the viruses explode... we must try not to lose faith... Anyway, this album should be seen as a testament to the honesty and rigor of an artist who, evidently, did not have a new album ready, but had one to make (contracts, alas, exist...). And so, the search for seemingly minor tracks and a previously unreleased gem from music history, society, and especially the relationship between the two, is all we can ask for... and, you know very well, it's not little... kisses (ugualepertutti.com)

@savickas: check out, if you want, my review of the latest fleurs, and you'll understand that I'm not one of those "regardless" types. @panapp: and I believe it... Capital is the Repubblica-Espresso group... I want to see the programming elsewhere... Anyway, kisses to everyone (ugualepertutti.com)

@london: essentially agree, although, looking closely, there are some great gems in every album... @aries: totally agree
