I've been re-listening to this album lately... I'm reassessing it, genius dogs and dog owners and the madness of women... "Pagano" is the one that grabs me the least.
Anyway, great album and great musicians and instrumentalists.

De André used to say: "often the cops and the carabinieri fail in their duty..." he was right. Fewer cops, but is it possible that all the carabinieri are empty-headed? In Biella, the average IQ of a carabiniere must be around 40 or so. They always pick on the wrong people. They come to hassle us for a joint while behind them, there's someone dealing coke.
